Not really, male nightborne hair options are already way better than male night elf hair options and it isn’t even close, yet I haven’t complained about how that’s an example of Horde favoritism (although come to think of it, maybe I should)
Male nightbornes actually look incredible now and the main reason people won’t play them is that a lot of the people who would pick them are already playing blood elves
you wouldn’t be the first alliance player who wants to steal anything from the horde and spam threads about it and you wont be the last, horde is blizzards red headed step child after all.
At this point the hardcore Blood Elf-fans desire no “fairness” anymore for vastly different reasons. The constant mocking and harassment they gave the Void Elves for the frustrations with the company floored them later in a grandiose Karma-turnabout when the Alliance did get High Elves. The Alliance-players always had a legitimate claim and it’s also time to accept it.
And secondly, they are currently favored when it comes to new content. Blood Knight armor, Dark Rangers and a heritage weapon (quest)/mount (cash shop). To say that they get nothing is surprisingly disingenuous, “red headed step child”, but I guess this goes attitude goes well with races who play their characters for the looks.
And an expansion later the void elves will get the same armor but recolored in void elf or high elf fantasy colors. Dark rangers as op said are for void and night elf, while in horde it is exclusively blood elf. Any and everything the blood elves get, so too does the void elves. Void elves have more customization options than blood elves at this point.
edit: oh wait they already have the blue and yellow combo back in BFA, so they had it first and we just finally got a reskin that the alliance already had. Everyone is getting heritage weapons, blood elves were just first. Cash shop is cash shop for both factions.
They will get the Paladin class down the line, most of the players have already access to High Elf-alike armors and tabards.
That’s the natural way for a race like the Blood Elves. Don’t like? Playing Elves is overused anyway.
This is incorrect. Other posters have pointed it out several times that they still cannot compete with the Blood Elves. They came close but the whole math goes off with the accessories.
I’m not worried about it anyways, Blizzard keeps spitting in our faces, and making poor game design choices, and the hype for dragonflight has died. I’ll be my amazing miqo’te in ff14 as i watch a second exodus of wow after the third month of dragonflight.
Blood Elves (Horde) are limited to the more city-dwelling, high-society elves so it makes sense they wouldn’t have the same ‘rugged’ beard options as the Void Elf faction, which includes the more natural, more outdoorsy high elves.
Belves are also sometimes outdoorsy as well, though. I think they should at least have a few options. But if you were to legitimately try to make a Helf identity in the Alliance, I would agree that the really outdoorsmen aesthetic options should be specifically for them (like Wildhammer-esque levels of naturey).
If they wanted to make night elves and nightbornes share all hair customization options, etc., I’d totally be in favor of that because night elves would be the main ones who would benefit from that deal, as the nightborne hair options are stunning and all the night elf hair options except for like two are crap due to night elves being on Blizzard’s least favorite faction (which also explains why blood elves get better hair than void elves)
Yes. How is it not equal? Tell me what the elf has in that picture that the Forsaken does not.
The OP was complaining the Alliance got two Dark Ranger options while we only got one and that the Forsaken was ignored. I’m saying they weren’t ignored, I’m saying Blizzard didn’t give us two options because we already had one option.
Because they are not a beautiful hourglass figure race. That’s why they (most likely) don’t count. But the Forsaken are more well-known for their apothecary lore and use of shadow magic, rather being “Dark Rangers”.
