Just out of curiosity, who do you suppose made the decision that Twitter was gonna start charging $10k/month for API access? Who could possibly be trying to monetize access to the Twitter API after after causing the company’s value to be reduced by half in less than three months?

The recent court case he won, regarding Tesla & whether or not he misled investors, has nothing to do with whether or not he’s competent to run Twitter. Why do you think he offered to step aside & appoint someone else CEO? Even he knows he’s over his head.

because Tesla investors were concerned too much of his attention was being paid to Twitter - not because he thought he wasn’t competent to run it. You are totally clueless if you think his brain even considers he ‘is over his head’. You don’t spend 40 years building up confidence to lose it at the first sign of trouble, not with his track record. I don’t have anything close to his record and I wouldn’t have had my confidence shaken by twitter fools.
And it has most certainly to do with right or left politics since the left were the ones trying to stop the advertisers from advertising on there.

That’s not “left” or “right.” Business competence has nothing to do with politics.
yes I know that is what you think - I think you are wrong about that and you are definitely wrong about him thinking he is over his head with twitter. People like him just don’t think that way after a lifetime of successes. Plus he has brought twitter to profitability in a handful of months - that is a lot of success.
Left and right has to do with everything. People vote a certain way because they think a certain way. Even on this forum you can pretty well guarantee the people who want to control what others say constantly are left.

you need a thinking lesson - pay attention to when he took it over and today’s date. You just proved it was a losing proposition when he got it.
I don’t know that they’re charging $10K per month. API fees for Google, Facebook, and others are typically based on usage.
Twitter was already starting to swirl the drain financially well before Musk came along, and had no viable plan for recovery. My hope is that Musk bumbles it to dust.

Social media makes most of its money through advertising.
You can’t advertise in a JSON file sent down by an API.
Chief seems to understand Social Media more than his critics.
