OK, so I had to change the password to my twitch account, is that going to unlink it from my WoW account? If I unlink it, it says there is a 7 day wait time to relink “A new” account, am I out of luck on the twitch drop this week?
Changing your password will not make it a different account, you should be fine.
It will break the link though, yes. That is correct.

Just relink your accounts. The cool-down doesn’t apply if you are reconnecting the same Battlenet account and Twitch account.
