So, few minutes ago I claimed the toy, logged in, and the toy isn’t in my inventory, I checked everywhere, my mailbox, my toys tab, nothing, is that normal ?
When I claimed the previous drops they were almost instantly credited into my account.
Twitch customer support replied to my email and said that since I was able to verify that it is my linked account and since the drop item is claimed, that it falls to blizzard to provide me the item. One says the other is the other says the first one is and I’m tired of them playing pass the buck and railroading me.
Then I made a post like this here and all the company men that don’t work for the company come out of the woodwork defending blizzard, then someone moves my post to a forum that blizzard never even checks or acknowledges or comments on. It’s like they don’t want to help when their stuff is broken but I can’t exactly go into their system for them and correct the problem myself.
It’s been over 14 hours meanwhile others already have theirs unlocked. I don’t believe the next 10 hours will make a difference cause there is no 14 hour queue for these.
I’m also still waiting for the Goblin Weather Machine. Didn’t have trouble getting the Fel Drake mount last drop. Hoping I’ll see it after I get out of work tonight.
What it boils down to as in previous promotions get twitch to resend the code to blizzard. Blizzard wont had out pets that they cant confirm only twitch can confirm it.
Well when 2 companies lie to you and tell you one does it the other tells you that one does it you demand action from both cause you don’t like being railroaded.
File a Bug Report. Customer Support does not handle bugs. GMs can only go by the logs to add items to your account. The logs aren’t there or you would have the item already.
It’s already been filed but this requires an immediate solution as the event is over in a few days, ticket times are over 4 days and bug reports never garner a response. Twitch customer service says it’s up to blizzards to provide the item as it’s been claimed and the account are all verified matching on my end. If you don’t like twitches response I’m sorry, but you gotta stop being company man for a company that doesn’t pay you, and accept that they need to step up and acknowledge these bugs better.
Heres the thing ur yelling at a brick wall no one that fixes bugs or handles these things come here this player to player support forum with blue moderation not gms they dont fix bugs or pass on feedback.
Also the bug forums are a one way street u wont get a response unless they need more information bug forums are the only way and GMS are hands off on twitch drops.
Yes, this isn’t inaccurate. Once you earn a drop, then claim it, it would fall on Blizzard to ensure that the item is delivered.
The overall issue is where the breakdown is happening. You claimed an item, great. Is Blizzard getting the info that your account earned the item? That info needs to come from Twitch. Does Blizzard know that the Twitch ID which earned it is connected to your Battle.net ID? That’s up to the players to make sure they are connected. Is Blizzard getting the data and correctly awarding the item? That would be on Blizzard’s end.
I recommend reconnecting your Battle.net to your Twitch, from both websites. Do it on Twitch, then do it on Battle.net. Sometimes, that refreshes everything and the reward can be delivered. If not, then you can still have time to watch the four hours again after reconnecting everything.
You can also put your experiences in the Bug Report Forum. That’s where they can check to make sure everything is working properly.
Opening tickets, and posting here, will solve nothing. CS cannot grant Twitch drops.
I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s a “lie”. It’s simply asking the question that’s asked. “Why didn’t I receive my drop?” will be (rightfully) answered with “It’s up to Blizzard to deliver the item”.
Once a player is positive the connections are there, they should ask Twitch to re-send the data that says they earned and claimed the item. THAT is on Tiwtch’s end. They have to make sure they inform Blizzard who earned the reward.
According to the Twitch customer support agent, It is Blizz’s responsibility to fulfill that.
After checking your accounts, if you are having trouble accessing the reward in-game, please note that the developer of the broadcasted game is responsible for fulfilling Drop rewards, and it will be necessary to reach out to the appropriate team for assistance.
A ticket is not going to get the item, because the GM’s have no involvement. A bug report is the way to go, but no, they will not give any response unless they are looking for more information.
And who’s to say that Twitch has a bug they aren’t acknowledging? You don’t know. That’s the issue. Blizzard isn’t going to release any kind of statement to throw their partner under the bus. They will work with Twitch to solve these issues, no matter who is at fault.
But until they start working with them they are just working against us telling us talk to blizz and the other says talk to twitch and they say talk to blizz again and it just goes around full circle.
Customer Support has no say on the issue. They do not work with the group that would need to address this. They aren’t even in the same state as QA and the Devs.
GMs can not help at all with this. Putting in a ticket is a waste of your time and theirs.
If there is a communication problem between Twitch and Blizzard, both teams need to work on it. If Blizzard doesn’t get the information correctly from Twitch there is nothing Blizzard can do on their side to fix it.
Blizzard does not have access to Twitch’s database. If you claim it on Twitch and it doesn’t get sent to Blizzard properly, there is nothing Blizzard can do to verify that you did indeed claim the Drop.
To you, it looks like it’s going full circle. And we all understand how frustrating that can be, for sure.
But that doesn’t change that somewhere, SOMETHING didn’t get through. Is it your fault for not linking the accounts properly? Is it Twitch’s fault for not sending the data regarding your claim to Blizzard properly? Is it Blizzard’s fault for not seeing the data that you claimed the item?
It’s likely a combination of multiple things, not any one person/company’s fault.
