Twitch connection

im not seeing wow/battle net in my list of connected things on my twitch account but if i look in my connections on blizzards side for WoW in my account info it shows twitch is connected with option for disconnect.

however if i were to disconnect i have to wait 7 days cooldown? i dont want do disconnect then be on cooldown for when the twitch creator drops go out for wow etc.

can someone tell me if im connected or not on the back end just so i can be sure im still connected or if i need to dc an re-pair on either or both sides?

If you’ve ever changed your Twitch password since linking your account, it disconnects it - even though it may look linked from our side. That is something they are trying to get addressed.

Relinking is the solution. Not sure about a cooldown.

yeah ive changed my pass on twitch a few times, i used to see battle net attached on my connections list but it doesnt show currently on twitch side, and on wow/blizz side the photo that i displays as the icon for my connected twitch is an old photo as well from years ago.

if i could figure out how to show a screenshot through forum post of what i see on my side i would but im not sure how

I believe if you relink it to the same Battlenet there isn’t any cooldowns.

cooldown warning

-edit: looks like when i clicked disconnect, it gave me the cooldown warning as pictured however once i clicked through and clicked the twitch pop up it did connect as intended so from my side it does show that ive connected to twitch again with the current icon i have for my twitch profile photo.

That’s specifically for linking to a new Battle.net. If you are re-linking to the one you already were linked to, you don’t incur a cooldown.

side note/question about twitch drops-

if youre a multi region player such as myself playing on both NA and EU, while im aware characters and things earned on said characters ie mounts/achievements an that dont carry over in either direction, with the twitch drops it says that whichever region that is logged into following claiming of the upcoming twitch drops will get the items.

question in this case is how do i get them also on my EU account? make a seperate twitch and link that twitch account to my bnet after the 7 day cooldown is up? or will the twitch drops expire by then as that account would not have been linked soon enough for it to count?

Generally, things such as the twitch drops would be gifts on all WoW licenses under the battle.net account that was linked and viewed enough of the content to earn the rewards. Log in to all the accounts and get the rewards.

Thanks for this! I updated my Twitch 2FA, and didn’t realize that was causing issues with the connection to my Blizz account.

Dropped and reconnected (no cooldown period since I was reconnecting to the same account), and I was able to claim my drops!
