I see lotsa complaints about twinks in BGs. They have huge gear advantages.
So why does blizz hate twinks and think its Ok at max level to have 226 ilvls destroying those in the honor set which starts at 158??
Well I can get the 226 gear and be good right? How bout you get the twink gear and be good? These gear gaps are ridiculous at all levels.

Let’s hear about your personal experiences observing twinks in BGs. Or have you never had any? Never seen one yourself? It’s just random posters you are echoing?
Twinks were removed from the XP on queue mid BfA. There’s an xp exploit now that permits a twink to party with a non-twink, who gets the xp debuff. The twink never actually queues or enters the bg.
This has a simple solution - remove an xp debuff when entering a bg. But Blizzard has apparently chosen not to do this.
Ive faced them and I had a twink or 2 back when it was a thing. The gear gap is real. My point if that if blizz hates twinks in lower level BGs due to a gear gap thenthey need to fix the HUGE gear gap at max level in randoms.
So you’re talking about level 60 PvP. I did not get that out of your post. I thought it was twinks you were concerned about.
Twinks were removed because of the huge gear gap and unfair advantage. Blizz words… At 60 they have an even worse gear gap in randoms with 226 ilvls 1 shotting 160 ilvls,. If the twink gear gap is an issue at lower levels then the same concern should be there for 60s… No way the entry set should b 158… Bare minimum it should be 180ish and upgradable from there
Heirlooms are incredibly accessible though and don’t need to be replaced every couple of levels? What am I missing? They don’t require repeated dungeon farming, AH gold sinking, or random epic upgrading, farming during timewalking windows, etc.
It’s more reasonable to expect levelers to at least be in heirlooms than to rise to the standard of straight up twinks.

Yes but not in lower level BGs with non twinks. That was my point. Gah you people I swear. They forced twinks into their own BGs thus removing them from the game because when they did it the twink thing lost a lot of players. Move along now.
They separated Experience on / Experience off in BFA because the engagement power was too high.
Something had to give! Sub end game characters were taking away activity from systems which cost millions to create.
A method was designed to replicate some of the “Twink” feels on End game characters, which in turn boosted ideal targeted metrics. - Party Sync was born.
Now we are at a standstill and looking for ways to reintegrate a lost dedicated player base back into the MMO RPG from where it was once formed.
up to level 50 sure. boas dont level past that. good thing players can make or buy ilvl 100s to get them started once they ding 50.
if you pay attention to the auction house you might find 111/113’s with a level 50 requirement. buy the rings/neck and gem/enchant them at level 50. as you level up the gems/enchants on those items(if you used sl ones) scale up with you.
DO NOT RELY ON DROPS FROM BGS TO GEAR YOUR ALTS.
You can fully level and twink a toon in the 19/29/39 bracket in under 3-6 hours depending on the level with the way they scaled low level gear in SL
Like, I do this regularly because I don’t use the exploit and it’s so easy to make a throwaway in under a day of playtime that I can use whenever I have only a hour to play, etc. it’s accessible to everyone, even very new players.
Arguably, more accessible to new players than the heirlooms are.
I dont believe for a second that you dont use the exploit. I bet you have a 19/29/39 twink that you play only using the exploit.

Max geared lvl 60’s destroying fresh lvl 60’s is ok as long as we don’t call it twinking. Let’s just pretend that the power gap at max level is somehow different from the gaps at low levels and everything is fine!
