Twinks make it 1-v-1 when they Camo, Double Tap, Aimed Shot someone and kill them. There was no team…only one player killing another. Twinks destroy the entire dynamic of team-based pvp.
If that’s what it takes to win battlegrounds, then yes, to a degree I expect players to put some effort into their stuff. Especially with joining that whole team based battle thing. This is how things were before, whether you were a twink or not. I’m not sure what happened with the game being harder before, yet people complained about all these issues less.
Ultimately, I think Blizz should put effort into their game experience before the level cap. Professions are just sitting around asking to be revamped, for example, at all levels.
You don’t have to be a twink to do that. Hunters are just broken in low level bgs.
I think what it comes down too is just people want a way more casual game now.
To me, that is kinda lame. I remember before their was xp in bgs and you had to stay geard and updated if you wanted to take a break from leveling and do wsg or ab.
Means you still had to level engineering, and fill in those lower level spots with professions or buy things off the AH.
Now it’s just go go go and I’ll max it when I’m “insert level cap”
I wonder if they really do though. Classic is getting a huge response because players are tired of the World of Nannycraft.
Edit: Might be just mainly old players that have bounced in and out of this game though. I really don’t know. I guess we’ll see come Aug.
I’m not sure with how they can make the current game anymore friendly in this regard and still be called an mmorpg. Getting a level 9 epic belt from elwynn forest seems pretty hard to top.
You seem to insinuate that a twinks gear is so outlandish that it affords the twink 2 times the hp of a leveler. <110 that couldn’t be further from the truth. As I have often pointed out in other threads, the difference is really minute:
my gear:

Neither sets include enchants. Looks pretty close to me. Where do you see them differing at? they certainly aren’t so different to warrant what I am hearing you convey, so perhaps you are a generalizing a tad much. Perhaps you need to be more specific because like I have shown, gear at these lower levels is more balanced than it ever has been.
There are quite a few inconsistencies in other parts of your argument as well.
Perhaps it’s you that just doesn’t understand what a twink is these days. There wasn’t a single piece of gear that did not get adjusted /changed that affords players godlike status. If you truly think that then I challenge you to offer up proof of this claim.
So cheating gives godlike powers now? Rather I would offer up a different theory. One that puts the true nature of the problem into the light. Perhaps if you and others took the time to get better gear your trip through the bg’s would be less problematic.
“But Welfare, by the time we get said gear we will have leveled out of the bracket”. My response to that is ….good. It seems you forgot why you’re there in the first place. You’re either there to level or to enjoy pvp. By upgrading gear as you progress through the bg you afford yourself upgrades that will be needed so you won’t be like this warrior in the thread crying about being -20 ilvls behind but expects to be on par with everyone else.
If your there to compete, then you need the gear to, you know, be competitive.
This line amongst all that meaningless word-salad cracked me TF up.
Sculpted? More like blindly grabbed an old shoe, a used syringe and some rotting food out of a dumpster and taped it all together, then presented it as a sculpture.
It does make sense though that someone who thinks this is a “well sculpted” expansion would be fundamentally against twinks. Twinks kinda step on the “everything is fair, everyone get’s gear for free, everyone is happy” thing they have going on now. Wouldn’t want anyone coming into PvP with a stronger character and hurting your feelings now would we. C’mon classic already.
Looks like a stat difference of 48 to me which, as you know, is considerably large at lower levels like 39. That doesn’t even factor in that all the twink’s gear will be enchanted whereas only the leveler’s heirlooms realistically will be. Stat weights weren’t factored either (crit being valued at a fraction of versatility in these settings, for example).
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not with these claims that battlegrounds should be balanced around brand new level 10 players but you folks who thought that twinks were acceptable are pretending- even moreso now that quest rewards ‘titanforge.’
People like me definitely wanted a more casual BG leveling experience specifically, yeah. If you’re looking for a less casual experience then, well, you know which bracket is waiting for you.
It’s actually really close when you compare it to what people are claiming. Everything is close except versa, which they could have reduced effectiveness or added more to heirloom gear.
Blizzard has said that XPoff has a significant advantage over XPon players and that is why the queues are separated once again. I think I will believe them.
Bonus point for the fancy markdown chart though.
People like Blizzard?
people still mad about all of this.
Twinks are literally just more vers than having 0. maybe if people learned how to prioritize stats this wouldnt be an issue. but its 2019 and people dont need to know anything and just complain.
People still mad about people being mad about all of this
As you complain about people.
I mean some of them even stalk them so what do you expect shes so mad lol
And some people stalk the forums to insult people hoping that makes them right.
Gotta provide the correct knowledge to people who don’t know any better.
It’s like the assault rifles argument. People know nothing and don’t care to learn because they are always right.
Nope, people in this forum who claim double the health or some ridiculousness.
Tbf, heirlooms really don’t offer this (that I saw anyway)
