Oy vey…of course I don’t think better gear is against the rules. As I’ve said in this thread before, that’s literally the point of an MMO. There’s motivation to get gear, and that’s part of the fun…getting better gear, surviving longer and doing better. Progression is the core to any game.

Obviously it is in real boxing, but the analogy of having iron-gloves for our purposes of relating to twinks I think is still valid. If you want to use another analogy, throw one out that makes sense and we’ll use it.

Ok heres one you might like. A twink is the guy that goes to the court wearing proper tennis shoes. And some of the other kids are wearing flip flops.

That’s a good start…but the key difference, is that the players wearing the flip-flops were not given the opportunity to get tennis shoes, because they’d have moved onto the next tennis tournament…so the guy with tennis shoes dominates all of the flip-flop wearers, because he cheated to play against those ill-equipped players.

Everyone has the same opportunities and capabilities. Just like the guys in flip flops, they chose not to use them to their full advantage.

False. They are using an exploit so that they don’t also earn the experience that would move them up to that next tennis league, where all the players have tennis shoes.

That’s not true…nobody failed at preparing…most players prefer to level up to max game, and play the end-game content.

If they’re that focused on one aspect of the game ( ie: end game ) maybe they should focus on the most efficient way to get there.
