The definition of a twink is entirely based on their superior gear.
You assume pro athletes dont have genetic advantages that have nothing to do with their skill. That and they take the time to do extra working out, eating correctly and other things that an average player wouldnt do.
Every twink thread is a flaming trash heap. This one is no different. Iām simply asking, do you think the same devs (that made the twink call to stay relevant here) are overall making good calls?
It was probably holinka, the guy who had to pretend he stopped being a pvp dev and wont say what department hes currently in. (Hint its pvp)

As far as decisions go, I think theyāve made good and bad decisions. This isnāt so much a decision as content, but letās be honestā¦the game has been around far longer than anyone would have anticipated. Iād hope nobody really expected AAA expansions since Wrath (my personal favorite, second to BC of course).
Weāre talking about gear, lol. If you want to talk about genetic advantages, like one basketball player being taller than another, then group that under class differences, not twink/gear.
Having 2 hunters, or 2 boxers, with the same skillā¦one is a twink because of his gear, just like one boxer is a ātwinkā because heās got ridiculously good iron-clad gloves.
The fact that they are boxers is the class. The bigger one has the gear.

I wonāt twink (proper) again until Classic. If I do step on the lower brackets today, Iām whatās been dubbed an āenhanced levelerā, but I havenāt done that in quite a while. Itās very unsatisfying to play in what passes for (lower level) BGs today. Whites and empty slots do not for a fun experience make.
