I have explained myself throughout the thread, but here I’ll do it again…
Yes, temporary as in not a permanent problem for literally anyone, with the exception of someone who hasn’t bought the current expansion or something.
You level through brackets quickly, you move through MANY brackets as you level (obviously), and eventually you end up at max level where the big bad twinks can’t get you. Instead you get do deal with all of the max level problems! HOORAY.
It’s a temporary annoyance for you the leveler, and you the leveler got permanent restrictions placed on the twink. You the leveler are the one who joined the BG ill-equipped for the mission but the twink suffers for it.

Sorry you don’t know me, you don’t know my gaming history in WOW. So to state im ill prepared is not true. It’s not temporary in any way. Levelers will reach 120 and move on to the next toon.
Alts as you probably know are a huge part of the game, in fact loads of people level up through the bg’s and leave 120 alone. So for a lot of players it’s a permanent issue.
Twinks are like a boil on your rear end that needed to be lanced.

The “you the leveler” was more of a royal ‘you’…generally speaking. I wasn’t accusing you specifically of it. BUT…before you enter a BG while leveling, do you seek out the best gear for the level, gem/enchant it, bring consumables, etc? If not, then you do fit that “ill-equipped” category, I’m afraid.
I don’t see how you can’t grasp the concept of temporary here. A twink is not a day-to-day, night-after-night problem one will have if they are truly leveling. There really is no way around that fact, they are a temporary annoyance. This toon is 120 and guess what? Literally zero twinks bother me.

Judging by what I’ve seen lately, I’d guess that the squeaky wheels (a few people on a campaign, using alts to make it look like more it seems) also spammed emails and such, not just forums, along with stalking twinks, ss, armories of outliers, etc. Instead of seeking some form of balance or seeking improvement for their own toons, they instead sought to remove an entire group of players.

As has been discussed and I have been informed by twink supporters, the feeling is that the forums make very little difference. Blizzard removed the twinks.
I have nearly every heirloom in the game. Enchanted etc. I feel no need to go to the level twinks do, why would I? I’m not seeking to be the most powerful.
What do you not understand about levelers who actually enjoy leveling bg’s as playing the game? Over and over again. 50 characters max on one account, and many have more than one account, and 120 does not even come into their gameplay. With allied races there are more people leveling than in a long time.
I understand plenty about levelers who actually enjoy leveling BGs…because I am one! I also understand how overblown the whole twink situation is, at least from my perspective of playing various alts in varying brackets. I just didn’t have that big of an issue ever with twinks. Occasionally I’d get in games with some, but there were just as many on my team so I didn’t really bat an eye.

So everyone’s BG leveling experiences, how many have come across players that are actually new?
Like first time playing WoW ever, new.
Zero people use it as a excuse

Wrong. The forums were a big part of their first removal. Maybe not this time around as much though.
I’m one of those and I don’t mind twinks. I’ve done something like 180 BGs in the last two months between leveling my Priest and Warrior. I play the game, sometimes I’m outgeared, sometimes I get outplayed, sometimes I just suck hard for whatever reason. But, I’ve been PvP’ing long enough to blame nobody but myself when I’m not doing well. People like to misdirect the blame and not take responsibility, human nature at its best.

I personally thinking twinking is ideal for a healthy video game
Once I’m finished up with my fingerpainting and sunny delight im gonna start gearing up
I call bs. If you weren’t finished finger painting yet there is no WAY an adult would allow you near a keyboard. They are so hard to clean.
Just in time.
If a handful? of players doing questionable unlawful acts is considered HUGE.
How would we classify all of the honest hard working Xpoff Twinks which were rendered largely unusable in PVP since 8.1.5?
That is 14 years of characters to add up.
This is a HUGE problem.

We are not the problem… we simply Q in and leave early. idk. we aint the problemo tho my duud
Well that was right at the time the current SJW trend was ramping up. I don’t blame them for panic-yanking the eject lever. Hopefully that all starts to wane, it’s doing more harm than good for the SJW agenda these days.
Well tbh faith in Blizz has been at an all-time low since “you have phones right?” among a multitude of other gaffes.
I mean realistically I’m sure they look at the metrics all day and that’s where decisions are made. But there’s that voice in my head that says “well the metrics certainly should be showing them this”, but they’re not acting on it.
It’s all further clouded by the utter lack of communication with anyone but themselves.
They can be very, very slow in most things with a few exceptions.
For all the doubters out there, just spend 10 minutes near the XP eliminator in your faction capital. Look at x9 players running into the room right up to the XP eliminator NPC and disappearing into their BG. I just did this and saw 5 in as many minutes.
This is more prevalent than I thought, and the exploit needs to be fixed. If you do happen to go there, please report them.
There are no legit doubters. There were just a couple people saying it wasn’t happening to try getting a rise out of people.
