Twinks still a HUGE problem

I did a little over 100 ( I think it was like 105, probably half before the separation ) randoms on my Dark Iron Warrior on the way 120 and I’m up to ~65 on my 114 BE Priest and I can still count on one hand the number of times I saw a game of perpetual GY farming, people really blow this crap up.

No it doesn’t. You can have a game of 50 kills to 10 where they never reach your gy.

Replace any instance of ‘GY camps’ with ‘lopsided games’ in my reply and, again, the point still stands. You’re splitting hairs and ignoring my larger point.

I’m not ready to believe that twinks were removed reduce the incidence of lopsided games while things like premades and giant healer disparities still remain. I think they were removed to make BG’s more fun for non-twinks, which they now are in my opinion.

I understand. I’m saying twinks weren’t necessarily removed to fix/mitigate lopsided games.

Twinks were removed because a handful of people flooded the forums for weeks on alts crying about being outplayed. Like all the other issues you listed, they weren’t a big problem.

The fact that I don’t have to tip toe around raid bosses anymore and exist to set up kills for my team’s raid bosses.

I fully agree that mileage will vary. There are things people have said happen a lot that I rarely see. That was just one particular aspect that I noticed.

On topic, I don’t really think separation happened simply because of forum complaints. There needs to be metrics. Granted, we’ll never see them (and I say that with confidence). I agree that they do not or seldom even read these forums outside the customer service section which in itself is about as useful as an ashtray on a motorcycle.

Giving them too much credit I do believe it was because of templates and it just took them a while to get around to doing what they may have done beginning of BfA.

Most especially “BGs are full of twinks!” That statement alone is utter garbage. I was in 39/49 practically every night and saw nothing but the same handful over and over. I’d like to know where the ocean of twinks was, because it wasn’t anywhere I was playing.
