We won’t have such a bad time when the leveller and twink queues are separated again.

Not all, but most people twink because they can’t handle max level pvp. You dont see actual high rated players run around at lvl 29 with 4 abilities, how silly and pointless would that be lmao

Not true,
Twinks are looked at as bullies and scrubs through a levelers eyes the reverse is usually the same. When a group of primarily levelers see the opposition consisting of primarily twinks they are very upset, same thing when you are a cell of 2-3 twinks getting lumped together with a group of under geared unmotivated levelers. I suppose what I mean is that a leveler can have just as good of a time ruining a BG for a twink as a twink for a leveler. ESPECIALLY in capture the flag Battlegrounds, Silvershard mines and Temple of Kotmogu.

I’ve never understood the issue. Twinks aren’t spending hours farming dungeons and sinking tons of time into twinking. They’re literally buying gear off the AH. If you don’t know how to do that, sorry?

I mean, is there any proof that these “twinks” even have their XP turned off? Or are people just ASSUMING they have it off?

The bullying accusations spawn from the abuse of power obtained by twinking. It’s one thing to steam roll to a victory and another to gy camp completely avoiding the bg objectives.

People buying ah gear will indeed appear to be a twink to the average leveler but to a “twink” they are no different than the levelers. There is a noticable difference between BiS items vs ilvl only.

To the average leveler a person that knows how to truly play their class would be considered a twink, add an ilvl/stat/enchant advantage and it starts to become a whole new level of broken (to the casual leveler). The new players or uninformed think any pvp scenario where someone has an advantage automagically makes them a twink. If you see this happening educate them and maybe we will see a lot less twink posts where it’s just a simple misunderstanding.

Cant play ret at all due to mages. Freaken nova or perma slowed. Cant keep freedom up longer than a global and everything getting stolen. Phew ret life is rough with out support. Going to have to stick to holy from now on as mages have rendered my ret useless :disappointed_relieved:

So you’re saying a spec that is designed entirely around slows/roots can effectively kite the most immobile spec in the game? Say it ain’t so!

But you’re right, ret just feels so bad to play against ranged, especially mages ofc as they are pretty much top of the food chain when it comes to kiting potential. The “wheelchair class” meme rings so true trying to PvP as a ret. Every time I try to play my alt ret I get a few games in and log over to my warr or DK out of frustration, it just feels sooo bad spending the lions share of a match waddling after your enemies, at least a DK can make your target waddle slower so you can catch up.

Pretty much. In the absence of Mages or root spamming druids Rets do VERY well. I have come to the same conclusion as you though, if there are a surplus of kiting specs afoot I will log onto my boomey or hunter. I aim to get more ranged classes to 119 so I can play more games. I currently have more healers and melee than ranged.

yes I tried to run JUST 1 WSG with XP on and blizzard …. BLOCKED me now im not the big bad wolf I just wanted to have alil fun however I can’t

So they no longer permit anyone to queue for sub-120 bgs? That makes no sense.
