Okay but in BGs where people call out twinks I do personally inspect people and they are just wearing heirlooms… so where are these OP xpoff twinks that should be put in their own BGs?

I personally don’t care anymore if they bracket them off, or not.
They have as much right as I do to be in ANY BG they chose to be in.

If they separate brackets, fine, if they don’t, that is fine, too.

Also, I’m a little uncomfortable linking a name or armory.
That feels almost like calling someone out, and I don’t really like that.

Actually, if you wanna get technical about it, having the proper gear/chants even heirlooms, you are a twink, so there is that.

The term used to be tweaking, and was crossed over to twink for whatever reason, perhaps as an insult by non-twinkers.
I don’t know, or care, really.

I’m having fun, even when I get 2 shotted by… well, anyone.

EXACTLY what we have been saying from the get go… get rid of twinks, and anyone with heirlooms is the scapegoat… So why bracket actual twinks, when anyone like me will just heirloom it up and “own” a BG?

Let’s see. This may be sloppy but here it is,

A twink is a player that has chosen one an overtuned class/spec in any given bracket and Is using BiS gear/enchants.

The difference between a twink and a player in heirlooms with enchants is pretty noticable. If you have twinked yourself or faced a twink that mirrors your class/spec with gear being the only difference you’d know what “twink” means.

I recently leveled a rogue with full heirlooms with enchants on the weapon, neck, back and chest through the 29 bracket. I had 2250 health while the “twinks” in was facing had 2500 health. I didn’t think there would be much of a difference since the health pools were close enough, but was I ever wrong. I was being killed in 2-3 globals, even though my health pool was 500ish more than the average players and only 200ish lower than the twinks. The twinks usually remained with roughly half of their health pool whilst I was sent to the gy. Granted fury warriors, balance druids, MM hunters and arcane mages are WAY overtuned in the 29 bracket but even other rogues and even healer twinks were just on a totally different level. I would like to think that with heirlooms and enchants there would make some difference vs twinks but not really. All the heirlooms did was give me an advantage over players in lesser gear.

Twinks are in a league of their own. I have seen a thread about twinks playing a different game and I’d have to say that’s pretty close since only other twinks can truelly compete.

I just want to point out I see a lot of people use salt water these days at both low lvl and max lvl so that’s how most people get deleted easy. Also juga is right about classes being broken low lvl but people won’t accept it. Because templates we’re a thing in legion but nobody brings up the complaints back then about a few certain classes

This guy is in the works but look at my gear. 343 item level staff with several 333 pieces at 119. Alot of my gear is unobtainable unless you were lucky during the anniversary event.

Oh I agree completely. Some classes are stupid broken at low levels (arcane mage comes to mind), and SWP certainly do not help things there.

Oh, there were definitely complaints about low level Disc Priests and Survival Hunters, for sure.
