Maybe just don’t do bgs in a bracket you know twinks are rampant in? It really seems like an avoidable problem.
Twinks are dominating all brackets at the moment.
I suppose liking your own post was for transparency, too.
Twinks have been a part of this game since the beginning and haven’t killed it yet. As for anyone that does quit because they got killed a few times in a BG - good riddance. This game holds people’s hands enough.

And you could be doing the very same with your rogue Schminny, within minutes of preparation.
At level 80 there are multiple seasons of PVP gear available in old Dalaran sewers.
Blizzard has even recently removed the useless PVP resilience stat in exchange for some useful ones.
At 85 you get another myriad of options to lighten the load.
The cool transmog is icing on the cake.
Ps. Always have your highest ILVL (dps) weapon equipped in the main hand.
So i created this character to go check out low lvl BGs and see what the fuss is about with these twinks. My god lol, how can you say this is better than max lvl bgs? Warsong Gulch, first clash of both teams, we get steamrolled and GY camping starts. 12 minutes until the end we are locked into graveyard with no chance of escaping. Much fun right? Much competitive right? I have NEVER seen a graveyard camping at max level since i started playing retail in WoD. So i left, eff this, i am not going to stand there getting rekt for 12 minutes. Like OP said, in the end you will play with yourselves. And queues will be 20+ minutes long. You can say what you want, twinking is purely about stomping your opponent with semi-fair advantage - i mean if you are a tryhard you can go farm bis items and enchants but who does that lol?

Did you tell them 120 was a whole different story?
If you have been playing for that long then you should have know that low level bgs have been unbalance since forever. Even in the multiple expansions where twinks were separated there were boa geared ferals, disc, prot wars, hunters, and rogues going around 1-2 shotting people.
Maybe you could explain to your friends and son that wow is a game about character progression thru gear and talents and traits, you can’t just walk into a bg as a fresh undergear newbie and own seasoned vets with a lucky shot like you can in games like fortnite.

I bet this is something that can’t be solved by putting effort into your character. It’s almost like the more time and thought you put in, you reap better rewards…weird.

Ahhh…the age old twink arguments. round and round they go. getting no where.
When the twinks are separated to their own queu…they all but die out. proviing they are
in the minority after all, though VERY vocal on forums
only interested in actually just stomping people (they will claim its about competition)

I don’t understand your question. People are complaining about the unfairness of twinks, since they are NOT separated from normal levelers.
Or was your point that the complaints about twinks are making the ‘normal’ players the ‘VERY vocal on forums’?
If that is the case, its normal to complain…when something is wrong.
Even if it’s just venting. You’ll probably see alot of complaints about twinks. It’s only natural.
Buuuttt…my point was although twinks are VERY vocal…they are in fact a small pct, just wreaking havoc.
The proof is in that they all but died out when separated into their own queue.

If you think 120 is fine, you should also think 111-119 is fine, and 90-99 is fine. Really only 110 has more gear imbalance than 120, and you can level through 110 in half a dozen battlegrounds even if you lose.
I have zero complaints of Twinks tbh. Just thought I’d respond to the 120 post since scaling is real good.
