Twinks = no new battleground growth. Ever

ITT: Twinks and people who havent played lowlevel bgs, defending twinks.

2 shotting a prot warrior from a balance druid
they are actually okay with this, but not because they believe it’s fair.

When said warrior comes into the bg with no necklace, rings and gear that was barely acceptable from the previous bracket, yeah.

Anytime a tank is destroyed is a good thing.

But he did.
Because I played the character.
fully geared.

Then post on that character to give your argument some validity.

Lol like I’m out to lie and deface twinks for no reason? Right.
Even if I recorded it. Made compilations, you’ll resort to ‘well, qq lel’ anyhow.
I have no business changing your mind because clearly you enjoy playing them.

Even two 30% bloodlust boosted starsurge crits from a twinked boomkin should not kill a prot warrior is ‘decent’ gear. So yes, people are going to call bullsh*t when they see it.

Boomkins and arcane mages do hit hard though regardless whether twinked or not, so be ready to be wrecked.

It is easy to misunderstand the difference between a strong spec/class and the relevance of the character even being an actual “Twink”.
The same specs that are dominating end game are usually doing well throughout the lower brackets.
When the stars align (forgive the pun) some insane things can happen, Berserking, Pots, Elixirs all add up fast.

50k back to back Starsurges are very much possible in Arena at 120.
Miracles happen.

You assume much? I am just asking you to back up your claim. You come here on a 120, like all the others, and spout off about things that are greatly exaggerated but when called on it, i.e. posting on said toon, you won’t but lay the blame on me for your assumption that I’m going to " Well, qq lel" when in fact you couldn’t be further from the truth.

Nobody likes being on the receiving end of a thrashing, especially myself. My problem isn’t that people are taking the time to gear, I think that’s great. My problem is that most of the time I solo queue yet keep running into premades, usually 2 premades and I spend the entire bg running for my life.

There are several assumptions being made here by you and by others that are incorrect about twinks. And there are several assumptions that are spot on.

Let’s start with the biggest ones:

graveyard farming- it happens, quite frequently I might add. When players tend to wander off from the main group and get caught in the crossfire and die, they end up in the graveyard. Enough of them die and the focus on killing them moves to the graveyard. I, myself am guilty of this as long as the flag is moving. If the flag stalls or isn’t being retrieved I will typically start moving away. Yes, there are players whose sole enjoyment comes from camping the graveyard but this isn’t limited to just twinks, anyone who thinks so is an idiot.

Gearing - gearing these days for a twink is extremely easy, too easy in fact. One of my biggest problems is that in the 39 bracket, it shows that there are 707 people in the Horde community, but only 10-24 active at any given time. Out of these, roughly 80% of them are either constantly farming Burning Steppes or Sithilus for epic gear scaled down to 39. The problem is that only 20% are queuing for bg’s/skirmishes when the alliance are stacked deep in premades.

No skill - I would beg to differ. Levelers tend to want to just run around in the bg, attacking the first thing that they can. You don’t know how many times I hear " Man, that warrior just won’t die!!!" . When someone points out " you should be killing the healer instead", you either get “you’re not the boss of me” or " nah, healers are too hard to kill". With this mentality of not wanting to listen to a game plan, such as “Get farm, LM, BS focus heals and protect yours” and then you see two rogues and a mage and pally heading to the mines, you can’t help but become indifferent to the incessant whining that goes on.

When you get in a bg with water that has to be crossed such as Twin Peaks or Battle for Gilneas, and you have a leveling shaman, good luck on getting water walking. Same for a lock handing out stones.

There are a lot of things a twink such as myself should own up to, but there are several things that the levelers need to own as well.

Clearly you’ve invested too many emotions into this discussion and therefore I have no interest in arguing any further.

Twinks were pruned for a reason. And they will be again, lol.

As if you had an argument to begin with. Liars do what they do best. Lie.

Again, clearly clueless.

Honest? Both of us. Him because he’s a new player and me because getting him (or someone like him) to participate in this bullsh!t takes more effort than getting people to help you move furniture. My son would literally rather mow the lawn.

If I want a more equal experience at 120 I can have it. He (and new recruits) can’t.

That’s nuts. My ten-year-old is more easily persuaded to do yard-work than play a WoW battleground. That’s a seriously broken business model and the current Acti-Blizz stocks confirm it.

I may not be able to salvage the game, but thank god I can always short the stock.

Quitters turn off their XP because they know they can’t compete if they level up.

That’s just sad and the game would never be for him then I leveled 4 toons just fine

I always find this response funny because I have seen high rated players way better then you most likely play twinks as well

It’s more like seeing all the bullies and being like, “You’re right son… this is a bully only park.” Lets go to one of the dozens of other parks you prefer.

That’s a sh!t business model.

You know your arguments pretty bad when you’ve gotta post on different characters and like your own posts to make it look like people agree with you lol. Sounds like your kid’s just not that into WoW pvp tbh. Let him do his own thing rather than trying to force your interests on him.

As for your own problems, I’d recommend a nice, healthy dose of “GIT GUD” and a big box of tissues to wipe away the tears.

Caught them red handed.
Once this happens any form of logical debate is out the window.

Quite the opposite. Posted on the toon I’m leveling with him for transparency.

I do fine on my own. It’s anyone new i try to bring in that quits because new players HAVE NO VIABLE OPTIONS unless they want to turn off XP and twink themselves with a vet player helping them twink.

Again, eventually, only old-blood will be left. Bad business model.
