There are so many old procs, trinkets and enchants that deal damage well in excess of what they reasonably should, and a few that actually feel stronger post-scaling than I ever remember them being.
Twinks really wouldn’t be as annoying if not for these broken items and their exploitation. And why wouldn’t you exploit them? If you don’t, the people who are will clean you right up.
Could we have Blizzard make a balancing pass on at least a few of the more egregious examples? It really is kind of silly.
Not only can Blizzard adjust items that have enormous scaling. Twinks have even did all the hard work for them by forming what is considered BiS lists that they can review and see what items have scaled too high. I would even say that some twinks have gone so far as to put in reports to get these items adjusted to have better balance in the brackets. Its just that blizzard doesnt care to balance low level pvp, they never have.
low lvl pvp will always be broken always. people talk about twinks being a problem they didn’t exist in legion yet low lvl pvp was still unbalanced disc priests slaughtering people survival hunters slaughtering people I could go on but it is never balanced
previously meh items were not BiS or made players into unstoppable killing machines, but different items did. and there is always a BiS, if you look at bracers, out of all the bracers you can obtain at level 59, 1 of them is the best, nerf it and something else will be best.

There has been great awareness from Blizzard regarding the balance of lower level brackets. These three items are just a small percentage of what has been happening.
This direction for balance and access to gearing (10-109*) is arguably unmatched within BFA.
We have never had such easy access to customized gearing, all while being correctly balanced and controlled.
*109+ clearly involves a greater challenge with the introduction of Azerite Traits along with the merging of expansions.
…wait wut???..back in BC I had a 39 twink lock, all BiS blues from dungeons and pvp re wards, and I used to go through STV killing any horde I met up to level 60…and that’s just one of the twinks I had at that time… twinks have always been around…
Oh wraith scythe got nerfed? They were just as bad as zul’thraze. The life steal proc is hitting 700+ and does 15 - 18% of a twink 59 monk or enhancement shamans damage. Not to mention it’s a life STEAL proc. Tons of damage and healing. If not for the damage reduction component of zul’thraze, wraiths were actually worse :).
Skullflame shield life steal proc is also doing like 500+ damage for paladin/shaman while it only does like 135 for a warrior.
Thats the word on the street. I’m not finding anything for Fist of the Damned, so anyone who has a Wraith probably will move to that until it’s nerfed too.
Many twinks have reported these items as broken. Rammsteins has had a target on it at least since the expansions release. I cannot fathom why Blizzard hasn’t taken the nerf bat to that one yet but many twinks agree certain items are broken.
I was rather amused when I recently started twinking 49 and found that some twinks had this ‘code of honor’ about not using the Ramstein’s trinket. People that use it can’t get kills without it, etc. I just found it humorous that someone trying to get a leg up on the competition in every possible way still refuses to use x or y item because it’s OP.
It is OP though, make no doubt about it. I can’t wait for them to drop it back to 200 or so trivial damage.
It kind of makes me think of something I heard a long time ago. If some medical emergency happens around other people, don’t yell “someone call 911”. Everyone will just wait and assume someone else will. Either call it in yourself, or point to someone in specific and say “You! Call 911!”
