Twinks are playing a different game

I was not sure because it did not say who you where replying to. You said no one was talking about balance where in the very previous post you where talking about balance. Very odd behavior. Then you again bring up balance. Can you pick a stance and stay with it please.

Keep up please. They can balance without it including gear changes. Though maybe removing gems would be considered a gear item, that’s removal not balancing.

um, removal would be a form of balancing. Come back to earth please.

Okay you can nitpick, that’s fine. Either way, I’d rather they do that than outright remove people from a queue.

I think it would help definitely. I would also item level everything across the board. Remove enchants instead of scaling them. And take away the option to remove exp. If you want to use enchants and BiS items then do rated battlegrounds. They should make rated bg’s for all bracket levels.

Rated Bgs wouldn’t be bad for low level. They’re kind of low pop for max so not sure how popular they’d be. If they made damage scaling changes and eliminated gems there’s no reason to disallow people to turn XPoff though. I will say it’s been nice doing Bgs without dks and dhs but now I’m in the bracket with dks since hitting 50.

Why not give them the option to be able to twink against other twinks?

Well that’s why I said leave things as is for wargames, which was said still happens weekly. So basically disallow gems, like they do the Legacy bonus set in instanced pvp. Wargames anything goes.

Sometimes I read something and simply must give in to the urge to be off topic, pedantic, and annoying in response.

This is such a time.

When addressing another person or persons and wishing to make a statement about both yourself and that/those others, the use of “we” to indicate the entire group, or the use of “you and I” are equally acceptable grammatically.

If I were to say “we seem to have attended school in different eras, I’m assuming you’re less than 50 years old” would you understand that I was indicating that it is you and I that I was assuming to be of different generations?

if we scaled all gear across the boards, removed sockets, and did not allow enchants, the twinks would disappear. Ok, instead of rated lets call them wargames.

So you’re asking for templates back? Good luck there.

It’s okay. I have a lot of patience with this type of poster

Well I agree, but its situational also, as the term “we” has been discussed and it is on peoples minds. So yes I probably read it wrong but at first glance I thought she was talking in the plural. My first thought was she was implying “we” as her and other twinks. It could have been clarified by you and I definitely. It was situational and I apologize for reading it wrong.

Where did I say that?

I get what you’re saying but it still depends on the usage. It’s frequently used here by single people who use “we” to make it seem like they’re referring to a greater crowd.

If you say “baseball is a fun sport” and I reply “we disagree with you.” You’re generally supposed to define before using personal or demonstrative pronouns.

You just described templates. Gear scaled across the board, no enchants/gems allowed to customize with. Don’t get me wrong, I loved BGs in Legion when they had this but it wasn’t popular even at max level.

you are putting words in my mouth. I implied no such thing.

You may not have meant to, but that was templates in a nutshell.

ok then, back to basics. Explain how you would have a more fair balance?

Now I’m not sure who “you guys” refers to.

But my favorite ideal has always been to have a “skill” queue at all levels where all those entering start ungeared in an armory where they could choose what equipment they wanted, obviously saving a favorite set would be allowed, then the battle would begin with no gear advantages other than skill in selecting gear. This idea was first brought up when BGs were first added to WoW.

Not that such a thing would ever happen, but it defines my idea of “ideal”.
