Repeating yourself isn’t proof, or a source, nor any form of evidence.
Just saying “You can’t prove otherwise so I don’t have to prove it!” isn’t proof either.
Actually I have a better one, lets say I was leveling a mage, priest or warlock via BGs, and I had heirlooms… But I also had the enchanting and tailoring professions, so I enchanted my own gear. Is using my very own profession making my character a twink?
If you’re level 19, and using enchants that require 300 enchanting; sure. If you’re level 19 and using level appropriate enchants say around 50-75, that’s fine. As long as it’s not heirlooms that someone that level generally wouldn’t have, like for 19 a helmet or trinkets; likely a neck or shoulders as well.
Another note for people is that trolling @ me and saying things purposefully to get a rise out of me both constitute as that. Mocking someone in a negative manner definitely falls under that category.
But what if I enchanted said heirlooms on a character I had already finished leveling with enchants that were appropriate at a higher level during my journey, and sent them to a new character I just made? Or am I to replace said enchants with lower ones?
Depends on the strength of the enchant for the bracket to categorize it as being stronger than the average gear for that level. Twinking is making your character excessively stronger than the average for that bracket, so something that’s super strong like Elemental force definitely falls under that category at low levels.
To not be a twink, yes. As that’s excessively stronger than what is average used for that bracket. Otherwise they have to live with being a twink, and use things they gained from higher levels to have an advantage at lower levels. In a perfect world they would get match with other people who do the same.
I will agree with you that not everyone has all of the heirlooms, but I would guess that most people have at least some of them.
I kept feeling like you were trying to prove a point, but I wasn’t sure what that was. Now, I think maybe I get it. You don’t think anyone should equip gear that isn’t handed out from quests at their level?
If it’s available to use, most people are going to use it. You can certainly choose not to, but you can’t keep others from doing so or complain because they are using something that is available to everyone. You can even buy some heirlooms with DMF tickets, so it’s not like they are out of reach for the average player.
A once a month event that the average player may or may not attend, so yes continue to streeetch that twink logic there. The average leveler isn’t going to have that stuff, so people that have high end gear like twinks should all get pushed into a queue with twinks.
They should put non geared people and people who wear agi gear as a ret for example like in that SS earlier + hush in their own q I mean they want fair fights right?
Insinuating that I don’t know how to gear my character or choose the right stats to get a rise out of me falls under a particular category in the guidelines, Oak.
I actually farmed most of my heirlooms when they were still requiring Justice Points as the currency. So If I’m leveling through Legion content and I decide to throw Hidden Satyr on my neck(can learn this recipe while still at level 100) I’m not deleting or downgrading the enchant because someone on the forums is having a cry, the damn thing costs 15 Chaos Crystals and 12 Leyshard Crystals, it isn’t easy finding that many epics to disenchant before hitting 110.
Those are my alts, mainly pointing at the normal and heroic(then was flex and normal) Garrosh kills, you better damn well know I’m putting OP enchants on those heirloom weapons, and I got said heirlooms when the raid was current since they don’t drop anymore.
That’s fine, hopefully Blizzard decides to put your character in the twink category just as I do and put you in a queue against closer-geared opponents.
