Twinks are now just leaving BGs early

Case in point here.

People get the ban they were lobbying for…but now…thats not enough. Its on to something else. Its perpetual whining.

But if there is an option to gain xp in battlegrounds to level, why would twinks who have xp off want to share the same ques? Also, was the xp added to deter a twink from overpowering levelers?
Obviously, the leveler is only looking to change the approach to achieve the next level, where as the twink wishes to remain in stasis.
In the end, those that wish to midmax gear and play in brackets where the majority are outgeared has to make you wonder.

I have current level quest and dungeon gear, which even by definition of your post(Nice alt-liking btw) is standard.

Enchanting heirlooms and doing things like that is a form of twinking, which is why you’re able to do so well; since it’s not intended for those low level characters to have such enchantments and gear like that which is why they become so much stronger with them.

Because it didn’t get rid of twinks from the bracket, now did it? It made it so those with xp-off could not get into the queues which is, I agree a good thing; but clearly isn’t enough.

No. It didnt.

Which is what we have been saying all along.

So I guess now, the new plan is to keep moving the goal posts on what constitutes a “twink”? This should be fun.

Having more gear than is considered average for the bracket, which is only really bad when taken to the extremes; or when there’s enchants involved. The worst is both combined. As the people that twink themselves say, “You’d be surprised how much of a difference some enchanted heirlooms makes.”

There is of course the case of certain classes and specs being quite broken, which only is taken to even FURTHER extremes when twinked.

An anonymous forum poster has told you there’s still twinks in bgs and they’re doing all sorts of unsportsmanlike things.

What reason do you have to believe this?

And if the average player has decided they’re tired of doing quests and has very little gear, do you now classify players who do quests as “twinks” and bar them from bgs?

Maybe the easy cheezy way of fixing this is to limit queuing to a handful of the most broken (but not OP) spec?

Not really, as I said; the average leveler. The average amount of gear you can get from a bracket through quests and dungeons should be expected. Which is, been tested by me twice now; roughly what I have.

The average leveler is doing fewer quests and dungeons than ever. I used to check out my team when I was twinking. Their average ilvl was well below what a player who was leveling by questing would have had, let alone dungeons.

Gander at my gear and say what you will about it. Do you think this is average leveling gear, or no?https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/character/moon-guard/hushpup/

Please stop entertaining this worgen troll. Obviously they’re not serious when they say you’re considered a twink if you use enchants or BOA. Just ignore and hopefully they’ll focus their time on equipping legitimate gear and stop being a handicap in bgs instead of spreading misinformation.

1, name calling is bad. 2. I think you’re a twink if you use strong enchants, or use BoA heirlooms that people in that bracket usually would not have access to.

My gear is completely legitimate, it’s the average gear you get from doing quests/dungeons within leveling.

Just out of curiosity how long have you been playing this game?

Quite a few years, quite experienced in many avenues of the game.

So you’ve been playing a few years and still can’t afford 1 BOA item? Or do you refuse to buy them so it gives you a leg to stand on? Just in case you didn’t know a WoW token will give you 100k+ gold, more than enough to purchase every BOA you need.

I don’t buy anything that would be considered not appropriate for the level, and I only use what is truly intended for the level brackets. That means no strong enchants, nothing gained from max level characters and so on. It’s completely just going off of what I gain on the character from leveling, to show the average of what you get while leveling through brackets.

Wrong. You have made a few upgrades. I’ll give you that but you’re still missing slots. Pretty sure you have access to heirlooms but are trying to prove something that’s the exception, not the standard, in low level PvP.

Please share which ones are my alts because I don’t see any of them on my account. There’s also a good chance you’re wrong on that too.

Sadly I think they are serious, but you’re right, no point feeding.

This account doesn’t actually have any access to heirlooms, and I’m proving what the average is for a bracket.
