That’s usually enough for me in most cases too but then one of those geared-to-the-gills guys appears and makes the gear gap blindingly obvious. The most I can do against those types in many cases is try to keep them busy long enough for the flag bearer to get away or for an ally to cap a flag or whatever, because they don’t die with anything less than 2-3 normal heirloom players attacking them. This is especially true if they happen to be a self-heal class.
Yea, it happens. I wouldn’t say enough to warrant separate queues, imo anyway
I can. They were in their own separate queue before Legion and now they’ve all suffered collective amnesia and forgot all about that. Blizz needs to add XP on killing players so they will eventually level up if they keep doing this.
And the same thing was happening. Low level was imbalanced and we heard about it here.
Curious statement. Twinks banned from xp bracket, with certain ilvls. Would this apply in dungeons as well. {Item level - Too high - May not enter} I’ve been a twink along time and love it. Last time we had divided bgs. I simply avoided playing my twink and leveled. First 5 levels dungeon, to gear up as well as i could. Then rolled bgs’ last five, over and over until new bracket. Twinking won’t stop ever. My advice if you wish to pvp - gear for the chance to win. Alot of peeps in forums, from the servers i play on. Complain about bg twinks, yet have War-mode on to level. Ironic?
It wouldn’t be so bad if their presence were more sporadic (as it tended to be in earlier xpacs in my experience) but in some brackets you end up in games with those turbogeared types 2 out of 3 times with some games having multiples. Those are the games that suck the worst and are to me totally worth not queuing to avoid.
Honestly just eliminate the xp-off feature altogether and call it a day.
I guess we had different experiences. Usually if my side had a few, so did theirs. Always seemed to balance out.
With 2 Groups per bracket queuing efficiently this will be a common sight soon enough.
For better or worse, that’s ubiquitous in PvP. I learned quickly that one can’t get away from it so it’s best to just accept that it happens at all levels and salvage what can be salvaged from those BGs. Top end RBG/Arena, Raid, or grandfathered twink gear is all the same in the end when it comes to relative strength in a bracket. Some folks get it and wreck face while others don’t and get wrecked. shrug
The Wrath of The Twinks
Report them afk when they start to afk. Get them out faster.
No one in a BG is going to take the time to bother.
Only professional Twinks actually care about finishing the BG
No one’s going to bother reporting them afk? I get people booted that way quite often.
No one likes to feel they’re being leached on.
So your solution is to do them a favor?
I’m doing me a favor. If they’re going to pout and not make an effort, they shouldn’t be there.
They are getting kills then afk out… meaning leaving.
You forget the part where XP-Off queues don’t pop ever. Period. Or we gladly would.
Blizzard supports this re rolling, it promotes game activity.
Players can do whatever they want as long as the rules are being followed.
Healing/Defending your FC or containing team in GY is all fair game.
Only way that seperate brackets for EXP Off would be if Blizzard were to Artificially suppress EXP On Ques as well.
Because right now, it’s harder to get into a EXP Off que then it is to find a full 25 man Antorus raid at 110.
