No it’s common sense. Pve you have a dedicated healer and tank. You can tell your group to wait before pulling npcs. Pvp even at low level has no pause button.

The bottom line is that gear checks don’t belong in low level content. That’s what end game is for.

PvE, PvP, pet battles, fishing, I don’t care.

Lets not forget about adding the ability to enchant legs and shoulders. Current low lvl twinks use a casting/trade glitch to enchant each others boe’s. Engineers use this same glitch as well. Make enchanting these pieces available to everyone the standard way, that might help balance out the disparity.

Exactly, you’re apparently supposed to grind current content ENOUGH times by 19 to have a full set of gear BEFORE queueing up for PvP which would REQUIRE you to turn off xp to do or to meet their demands and spend tons of gold for heirlooms and enchants.

Level 34 players aren’t instanced with level 18 players, honor level 400 players aren’t instanced with honor level 12 players, and people who shut off their experience at level 39 to farm dungeons for 3% droprate BiS items shouldn’t be instanced with normal people.

I remember back in Classic, I was running at 60 dungeons still in Defias Gear because I like the look. I was made fun of and maybe me DPS was on the lower end (not that it mattered back then).

But Gear didn’t Matter AT ALL in Dungeons.
Dungeons are not BGs.

If you join a lvl 60 BG in Defias gear, you better believe you’re going to get Steamrolled and IT WOULD BE ALL YOUR FAULT, not the better geared person.

The person I responded to was complaining about people who gear as I do. Never once did I turn off xp or run a dungeon/do quests.
