Yea, sucks for brand new players I do agree. But hey, we were all brand new at some point or another in this game. Brand new players have more problems than just gear since they are new to the game. Even an heirloomed player will have a big advantage over them. Still, not a good reason for people not to be ready for pvp if entering a BG, if even just to level. Iâve seen people in the 70s bracket with missing gear (trinkets) and heirlooms not upgraded past level 60. But, they get a pass because they arenât twinks apparently.
This starting to sound like an addiction, anything for a fix, eh?
Iâm beginning to think those that flooded the forum with tears about unsubbing, took the healthy route out.
I get people coming on here to complain about issues that are passionate to them, but why such hostility to people? Itâs insane that people are this aggressive to others online like this. Be a human.
Another point is that these newly made f2p revenge twinks will only have any influence through lvls 20-29. F2p will be stuck in this bracket forever, so just level out of it We level so fast these days its really not an issue. Just avoid that bracket and they will have to fight each other all over again. Too funny.
I think merged queues are the right thing anyway, so I donât see it as a reward. Itâs better for both twinks and for people leveling in battlegrounds to have shorter queues. Based on checking the armories of twinks, I think twinks have about a 2x health and damage advantage on levelers using heirlooms, mostly from gems and enchants, which I donât see as out of the realm of reason.
If a solution is needed, buffing heirlooms a bit - they could be 1 ilvl below dungeon drops instead of, I think, 2 ilvl currently - would be a better solution. Adding sockets to some or all of the standard heirlooms would also help. I donât think itâs too much to ask for levelers to socket and gem their heirlooms if they want to be competitive in PVP.
To be honest I think most of the people complaining about twinks are not people who level in battlegrounds, but rather people who just do occasional battlegrounds. Those people could just as easily log onto their 120s when they feel like a battleground.
Itâs not âintentionally trollishâ; itâs just the rational reaction to the incentives Blizzard has now put in place. The twinks donât want to level out of the bracket, so they leave just before the end of the battleground to minimize their experience gain. If this is a problem, itâs because of the incentives Blizzard has set up, not because of purposeful nastiness on the part of the twinks. And again, the solution is to merge the queues and deal with the issue, if thereâs an issue that needs to be dealt with, some other way.
TLDR: make heirlooms 1 ilvl below blue dungeon drops and add a socket to each one, and problem solved without having to use separate queues.
What queues are insanely long now. How can you justify queues popping 8-10 min before patch ? To queues taking up to 2 hours only during peaks hours. 110 bracket. Also 110 bracket actually really likes when there is no people to stomp, would rather have everyone be geared.
