what about the guy with both boa rings enchanted, chest enchanted, shoulders enchanted, legs enchanted, neck and cloak enchanted, with incendiary ammo and BFA trinkets? should they now exclude levelers with enchanted boas? because the only difference between that and a twink is that a twink will have gloves, bracers and boots enchanted.
you’re always going to have players gunning for a gear advantage over their opponent. they tried templates and no one liked them, so now we’re back to farming gear to make our characters stronger.
Those who have all that stuff, with the leveling turned on, i don’t think they are looking to be twinks in the first place. Unless a twink also means “player who has all that stuff, without turning off their level”, which that case, a twink might as well mean anything low level. Whenever i think of a twink, i think of somebody who first then disables the EXP and gets the best gear possible to be the best as possible in their preferred bracket. I think you less of a choice over that if you left your leveling on.
i’l refer to you back to my original post and expand upon it.
Instead of one button, their should be 4 to choose from, from excluding players that are twinks (ones with their exp disabled), people with heirloom and have it be like vanilla, exclude nobody and make it sort of free for all or for funizes: twink only battleground.
Personally, i think people would be happier if they get to do some semblance of matchmaking in battlegrounds. I know you kinda can with the LFG tool, but that’s just looking for a group.
Why are non twinks worried about something that they’ll level out of. You want to kill the gameplay for people that choose to stay that level when you can keep going and never see them again
