Congratulations! I am jealous.
I boosted some plate toons just to increase my chance to get them. Yes I am that desperate for them. My friend even went as far as clearing mythic up to Garry just for me to get them cause we both ran them together to get the Tusks.

Has the lock out trick been fixed for heroic? Reading that it was messed up put a damper on me going back since the launch.
I still use the lock out trick. Oddly enough sometimes it bugs. I used my demon hunter to start the LFG and had my paladin join but it started him at the beginning then I went in with my DK and I started at the final boss.

I agree this drop rate should be raises aswell as all pet drop rates in SOO. I have every plate item and weapon from SOO but zero pets and still to this day no shoulders.

Iâm pretty sure the drop rate was increased to ~1% (give or take) with BfA.
The rare weapon drops all started dropping way more often in 9.0 when they changed the legacy loot raid system.
The old drop rate was (personal drop chance)*~1%. They removed the personal drop chance so itâs now just 1%.
I can imiagine a drop rate buff eventually but as it stands and its stood since MoP blizzard donât want everyone to get these due to FOMO hence them and the Xavius shoulders being so âPrestigeousâ to those who blew all there rng in one epic load either @ current or after the fact. I have put a thread up if you guys donât mind giving it some attention.Basically I want blizzard to change Tusks and First satyrs Shoulders to a Cosmetic item and become a âForced Loot drop akin to the Legion weaposâ Force drop means only that armor type will loot it and will auto loot up a bosses death.If they did this and upped drop rates for both to around 0.5% or half of 1% then the raid might become less tedious to do.Also coming this Tuesday as of writing this the Skip to garrosh is still Bugged and disconnects last I heard.That also needs a fix and idk why its not been done.Prioritize your game blizzard and by that I mean what is currently on Live servers not wasting exorbitant amounts of time on the next expansion which honestly can wait.

I have gotten them several times over the years when buying a shoulder token off Thaumaturge Vashreen on the Vindicaar, using veiled argunite currency. That includes this account, which is less than 2 months old.
Late to the party.

Constant weekly farming as of Dragonflight on 8 Plate Characters, And ever Sinces Mistâs of Pandaria so roughly 11 Years of farming these with Nothing. A Drop Increase should be on par with the Shoulders off of Xavius which took me less than 100 to obtain would suffice. So 1/300 at the Highest possble chance should be the new Drop chance for these.
I honestly do not care what the elitistâs think who lucked out and yes they did not âEarnâ pure Luck no skill was needed on there part say An Increase to these is overdue. Either that or make Heroic and Mythic Raids that are Dead content have a Daily Lockout wich honestly should be a thing by now since Transmog farming is still a Niche thingin this game. If they wanted to combat gold farming for repeat raid content as it now would be Daily lockouts adjust the raids that haven been done already to make all items vendor for various Silver amounts not gold.And with the abundance of extra Disenchant materials they would lose proper profitability pretty quick.
Something has to change with this I honestly donât care what but doing this 8x2 times a week with bonus rolls just to get a couple hundred gold from vendoring trash items is rather pointless if the overall chance to obtain these Shoulders is as low as the Original Impossible item the Love Rocket at a staggering 0.003% which is where these shoulders Hover. I really blame the people who come up with these Percentages in the coding since it has made so so many items across every expansionnext to impossible to find or even farm even in Dragonflight there are so may Cosmetic items (As in Items that should be super simple to obtain yet are below 0.1% or even in the 0.01% range which is honestly Pathetic. They need a small team to go through every expansion and 1 by 1 remedy every item that has a drop rate lower than 0.1% and make every one of those items have a minimum drop rate of 0.5% so Half of 1% that way they are still a challenge but not a complete waste of time trying to obtain.
Just My opinion as someone who loves to grind out those sort of things.
These shoulders just dropped for me on mythic SoO this week.
Drop chance should be decreased.
