We have a month of pre-patch are you really going to make all the returning players get slapped and griddy’d on by players in upgraded conquest gear, so that even if I suffer and attain the same rating as them, I can’t upgrade my gear to compete? I just have to get she-hulk’d on for all of pre-patch no matter what rating I reach? Seriously?
Have a Dev flick the isSeason? from 0 to 1 this is not a big fix at all
Blizzard you need to hire someone to run your customer experience for WoW PvP and you should just hire me at this point because nobody else has the gall or style to do it properly.
Are you even gaining rating outside of solo queue? I think the upgrading thing is a bug, my buddy could upgrade his pieces but I could not. We were doing 2s, and gained no rating from winning but lost rating for losing. I don’t think it’s working as intended currently.
Thanks for the link I thought I remembered them gaslighting us, and it looks like I was right. They need to fix it ASAP because I have enough rating to upgrade my gear and can’t.
Wait so it’s just a bug that you can’t upgrade pvp gear right now?
Cause I just did some Rated Solo, and got 1600+, and it didn’t let me upgrade my pvp gear?
Totally agree here, I’m entering the world of pvp with this new feature but not able to update my gear (I updated all I could already with honor gear) it’s not the best experience, I do prefer upgradable gear as opposed to other rewards
i wouldnt go as far to say i need to smash casuals but i want to play the game on even footing once i have earned the rating required to upgrade my gear. i think their position is that there is no active season, so even though they are so gracious to allow us to button mash and earn rating, it’s not “real” rating because it’s not a season right now and therefore cannot upgrade our gear, so guess i wont play for a month. typical blizzard BS
To be honest I hopped on to play ranked solo shuffle for fun, But realizing you can’t upgrade gear theres not really a point since you’re actively griefing everyone else when you que up and theres no possible way to catch up gearwise so uhh
just afk for dragonflight i guess.
THIS. WITH the rating in solo shuffle you should allow us to earn conquest and gear out our characters! PVE can farm gear and play with the new talents! We are just hardstuck unable to improve our gear as pvp players until Nov 28th?
I think the upgrade requirements should be removed OR we should be able to upgrade our gear based on “ranked” solo shuffle! Make it happen blizz! Please and thank you!
what’s the deal here, why is it taking so long to get any meaningful updates from blizzard customer support on this? at least an acknowledgement that this is an issue and they are looking into it would be helpful… i filed a ticket and instead of a meaningful response it was auto closed, but they made sure to request for a customer survey. so, i filed another ticket but still no response…

From what I understand even normal 2s and 3s ranked rating isn’t letting people upgrade gear. I don’t think the problem is exclusive to rated solo shuffle rating.
