Yeah fair enough. Some guy said earlier that when Turbo is top tier in the meta, the game generally sucks and it’s honestly pretty true.
You can think your comp takes skill and caster comps don’t and I can think the exact opposite.
I just personally find that when I’m vsing Turbo. I’m never safe. I’m constantly playing on the backfoot and it’s not because the Turbo I’m vsing is “good”. It’s simply that there damage output is so strong yet my instant damage output doesn’t pressure them enough to play defensive.
Ironically, I do win a lot of games against Turbo but I just hate vsing them. I find that in the time it takes me to fake cast both kicks, spell reflect and grounding totem, I’ve usually had to play defensively immediately.
Give me back NS cyclone so I can equally punish a Turbo and force them to play defensive immediately.

Lol it’s really not. Any “meta” sucks for the people getting countered. I’m sorry but turbo right now doesn’t even come close to comparing to the toxicity of most double caster comps these days. I’ve played since tbc and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything as purely hot white trash as mlx.
Infinite cc, infinite things to kick on different schools of magic, invincible stand in the middle and turret… I’m sure I’m missing something but I assure you turbo was a joke in comparison to that meta. BFA was such a garbage expansion.
Idk I’d say they are on the same tier.
I think the best Meta’s are when Caster/Melee/X comps are top tier.
Obviously that includes RMX but also a tonne of other comps.
If you could see what turbo is like from my PoV. They don’t really do any “setup”. They just do insane pressure the majority of the game and we need to play almost perfectly to land a kill.
There was a hunter Dillon who said it awhile ago on the forums that he is sick of losing to teams that don’t get punished enough for making mistakes.
An enhance shaman hexing my healer without covering the dispel with a stormbolt stun or any sort of control can still do insane pressure in the 1 gcd it takes to dispel the hex. Just seems like they aren’t punished enough. Could be because I don’t have the toolkit I used to have and kiting is much harder now than it used to be.
But each to their own. I can understand the frustration about certain caster comps. Warlock/Spriest/X is pretty brutal. But I find that Turbo is even more infuriating.
yes but its pointless to bring up because frost DK’s niche is that it destroys melee cleaves all day

Turbo counters all but other melee cleaves such as frost dk ww and warrior ret. those two can beat down the shaman religiously as they are quite weak when oom and wall is down. However turbo makes life hell for random hybrid comps and stuffs caster cleaves in for a wild ride of Zugging till they die.
I am seeing it from your point of view. The last time I got to play turbo was back in wod when there was still pvpers around and I had some friends still in the game. This is coming from a ride the blue resto shaman.
As I stated already. Turbo isn’t about set ups. It’s about trying to out last by not overlap defensives or positioning poorly. It’s not really any easier to play I assure you.
Wasn’t that back in BFA? Wasn’t he referring to rmp and mlx? Lol BFA was the epitome of unpunishing with hour long dampen games.
Lol you can’t honestly be complaining about hex/stormbolt cc… I recommend you check out cc and damage from god comp from mop or mlx from BFA

Melee/caster is best meta for sure. Then melee cleaves then caster cleaves. Caster cleaves metals are disgusting and boring af.
BFA was worst PvP expansion ever and that final season was the most toxic “meta” and comp I’ve ever seen. Mlx with inifite non dr cc, cc that was both instant and others that were spammable, infinite durability, infinite schools of magic, insane burst and thanks to corruptions gross levels of haste. That takes the cake of toxic crap since the beginning of arenas in tbc for me. Seriously did you play the end of BFA?

Enhancement is possibly the squishiest spec in all of Warcraft atm. And it’s self heals are limited to like 4 every minute.
