It seems a bit bias that some classes get nerfed very quickly and consistantly while theres other classes running around holding down w key and doing the most insane damage (ignite{HUGE ISSUE IN FREE DAMAGE},enhance sham burst,destro instant damage) just to name some. While others have to play a game of chess in a matter of seconds.
Some specs damage for the amount of effort to deal it seems a bit whack, comparison
Dreadstalkers - over 12 seconds this does about 120k ish damage depending on crits in that period of time / int procs. While other classes can do 3x that daamge instantly for the same cd.
Conflag can deal damage = to dreadstalkers in a single cast if it crits and they get 2 charges, in 2 charges which would be the same total cooldown of dreadstalkers deals 2x more damage depending for drastically less effort to do it. Dreadstalkers is just an example btw since it seems to be the target of nerfs extremly frequently despite these facts.
More example could be shadowbolt…this spell is a cast and hits for like 10k? maybe less, feels extremly unworth the cast for the effort. or how say demonbolt i can spam but it only does 15k dmg to players, but instant casting every spell for a destro lock does 5x more damage. Despite all this theres few melee in the atm that can delete almost an entire healthbar without casting anything instantly
does seem to have a sameness to people trying to lose weight or kick an addiction… they start off strong but seem to lose steam and revert to their old self
I mean demo is insane right now so not sure why it matters how hard individual spells hit for if the overall kit is strong. Or is this more a complaint about the upcoming PTR changes?
Im using demo as an example not the specific thing that matters overall here. Demo just gets targeted very frequenty for nerfs so it was a good example when sooooo many other problems exist and are ignored. I think im not alone here in wanting blizzard to step up and tune pvp more frequently and not just 3 specs over 4 months.
If you dont beleive that, you should look at the histor of demo nerfs and “fixes” since 10.0, the list is getting long compared to other specs. Tho as i said not the point of the thread, i wwlant more nerfs for all specs clearly over perforimg…oike destro locks spamming 4 instant cast spells all game…or any clas that spams 2 buttons with sucess.
They were pretty consistent with the every 2 weeks and then they just went radio silent this week. Annoying AF because it set an expectation and then they just fell off again.
