TSM and AH addons effect on the AH

Addons are too broad. If you polled to find out how many people like food, you’d not have very useful data. You’d have to ask about specific kinds. The AH is a mess. Period.

Apparently finding a group without spamming trade chat is “EVIL! AGAINST THE SPIRIT OF VANILLA!” ( Classic LFG addon) but using automated program to game the economy is OK.

Auction addons should have been banned a long time ago. But hey sitting in Ogri waiting 45 minutes + is the “spirit” of Vanilla as is an economy dominated by automation.

This is so typical of “X add-on should be banned” threads. OP is totally clueless about how the add-on actually functions, blames problems totally unrelated to the add-on on the add-on, then claims it’s against the ToS when it clearly isn’t.

This is false. It is simply false. The low prices on Classic have NOTHING to do with “using TSM”. TSM works as well or better on Retail, but you don’t see those low prices there!

I don’t know how many AH users also use TSM. My guess is 1%. I tried TSM twice, and it is way too complicated to use, just for the AH.

Low prices are supply-and-demand. You don’t like them, don’t gather those things and try to sell them. I have seen dozens of posts by advance players, saying “I vendor everything in Classic – AH prices are too low”.

Single listed items need a MASSIVE list fee to them. Single item flood lists drives me insane as well when I want to buy a stack of something I have to move thru sea of poo to find what I want.

What on earth does people “feeling unhappy” have to do with anything?

Since when are the game rules based on people’s emotions?

Personally I “feel bad” when a group of mobs kiills me. Can’t we have a game where I am invulnerable, to fix my feelings?

I 100% agree.

People give TSM a pass because they’re benefiting from it but God forbid other people benefit from getting into a group faster or knowing which realms are dead before committing to one.

Am I the only one that enjoys picking off these driven down items to make a profit from them later?

I think its hilarious when I see crafted items on the AH that arent making a profit to the person posting them because they don’t calculate in the price of vendor necessities e.g. Rune Thread.

Then also don’t factor in the deposit.

They just see the price presented and assume its going to yield them a profit.
