Trying to get a new user started with 1 month free. How do I do it with my battle.net balance.?

Im trying to figure out how to give someone game time if they dont have a current subscription? Is it possible. If I transfer battle.net balance to their battle.net account can they use the $15 bucks to get one month? or do they have to sub 1 month then cancel, then I can give them the 15$ they can use to get the 30 day game time?

One month is only available via subscription, so they have to set it up with a credit or debit card and then cancel once it processes, yes.

Balance can be used to purchase game time but that is only available in 60-day blocks.
