Why would you want this though? Why make the most important part of the game so inaccessible to people?
Have you ever played on a low pop server? I’m guessing not.
It’s a pretty awful feeling to be prepared to run a dungeon for literally days and watching the quests for that dungeon in your log eventually turn green and then grey because there aren’t any groups running.

Booty Bay would make more sense, since that’s where the Horde teleports to Gnomeregan from.

Vanilla was 15 years ago so it’s not something you’ll ever get to experience again no matter how much you try to compare.

I downloaded it, looks like it’s working but only 2 groups total for all groups combined in the 30-40 level range. I guess it’s just my server

Personally I don’t care if their are changes or not, that’s you.
I play Classic because it’s super slow, easy, and I have to put 0 effort into anything I do which makes for a good time sink outside of real life. (The biggest challenge is time investment after all)
LFG was not a tool in Vanilla so sadly it will never be a thing in Classic.
That said, I understand the frustration of trying to find groups, especially if you’re not the right class. Guilds aren’t always the answer either as many of them are unreliable. During my time leveling in Classic I had to outlevel most of my elite quests before I could finally do them because no one responded to my requests for help, and the amount of dungeons I ran as a result is very small.
Some “community” right?
Let me ask you guys, if someone is having a hard time finding a group for something, what does “community” really matter when it’s just going to ignore your pleas for help? LFG was created in the future because people needed help for group content and no one cared to help them.

Just like some don’t want a dps warrior, feral druid, etc… While it is possible to play other specs, there is an assumed best spec for each class and if you aren’t playing it, you’ll get less invites.
Have you tried joining non aoe groups?
The funny thing I see is that most of the people complaining they can’t find groups are in guilds. Why be in a guild if your guild isn’t grouping with you?
I usually start my own groups in that case.
I have no doubt that people discriminate in groups based on class and spec- but I’ve personally never seen it happen. I’ve alweys just seen one tank one healer 3 dps, I’ve never heard anyone say any preferences for classes.
Some people find it more fulfilling to talk to people individually in order to build groups- especially with people only on their server.
I understand not everyone likes it but a lot of us do.
Oh and the teleporting dungeons.
Just “tried” to tank my first dungeon. Hope this gives you the biggest clue you will ever need !
