My account has like 30 “strikes.”
I’ve gotten a strike for calling someone “hun” lol.
I didn’t even know this game existed. Another pointless MMO in a sea of fly by night forgettable MMOs.
It’s not tho it’s the most successful MMO if not game in Korea. It’s had 2 years of polishing and is a ton of fun. Tons of people are playing this and loving it.
We’ll see where it’s at in six months, won’t we? :3 Wrong forum, btw
Yeah it looks awesome doesn’t it!
Hope you enjoy it
Watched a friend play it for a bit.
Game reminds me of Wolcen.
The only thing I see in front of me is Elden Ring
Ooooooooooh Elden ring
My precious
The one thing they messed up so far to me is no previews of skins/mogs.
and google ain’t helping.
You can only claim 1 of 3 founder platinum appearance. Fair enough. No previews in the game, store. And google shows me…nothing. Like one video of a player wearing one color. not my class…
a little control click preview would be nice.
Besides that…having fun on the gunslinger main. and I take the shadowhunter out for spins for a melee switch up. and yeah…the shadowhunter has this char’s name.
as for those waiting to do f2p…shadowhunter if you haven’t looked at classes is LA’s demon hunter. Down to glaive use and demon forms.
Been seeing the other melees out and about…shadowhunter appealed to me off what I saw. Monks should be happy. Off watching others on elite bosses (if called that) the martial artist is very…monky.
the elite bosses are fun too I tell you what. Pita to drop if your crew is not stellar. But that first time drop gives some nice gear rewards to reward the patience needed for fight. Ain’t no 1 drop RNG determined. you are getting a couple slots
I think Torghast was originally intended to be something more like Horrific Visions, back before they released 8.3 and discovered that a whole lot of people didn’t like enough so they quit over it or refused to move into the content. There were several punitive measures taken to try to force casuals to run them.
Fact: a lot of people were planning on getting the cloak on all their alts and leveling up on fewer of them. But many did fewer or none. Yet clearly Blizzard had intended the content to keep everyone busy while inspiring average or low-skilled players to step up their game and git gud.
Torghast was going to be hard content mandatory for everybody if they wanted to do any end content. That would fix those casuals whose lack of participation in 8.3 resulted in failure to reach participation goals. But somewhere along the way they realized that making hard content mandatory was going to cause a lot of people to quit before even starting. So they nerfed it, removed earlier suggested rewards of gear - because now it was nerfed the casuals who would do it didn’t deserve gear - and turned it into just another currency dispenser masquerading as repeatable content.
Not sure about Lost Ark to be honest . Outside of raid logging to try to get the heroic bow I’ve been playing ESO .
It was on sale so i got all of the main expansions up to the most recent one for around $20
Got to try out Lost Ark when it went FTP, looked at the game, looks interesting I guess but when trying it out a couple of hours its meh for how overhyped it is.
Combat seems fine but lacks soul.
UI is bad, useless popups, the fact you can not rebind keys is a minus.
Looks like a mobile port.
Story is meh
Even did a dungeon on the hard difficulty both with a group and solo and didn’t felt challenging.
Speaking of difficulty, mobs hit like a wet noodle and die easily
And of course what do you expect from Amazon? a delayed launch and locking servers with no communication as to why which left many players frustrated that they cant play with their friends, I have seen a review where someone and their friends had to start over on 3 different servers since because the servers they played on previously was locked.
Did you get to 50+? Sounds like you are rating the game on the initial leveling experience which is apparently a no-no lol and it shows since, well, the game really starts at what they call “end game” not after a few hours of doing quests/non max level dungeons.
Amazon and Smilegate (The actual game developer) are two different entities. I agree that Amazon with games has issues.
I would take this opinion with a grain of salt as it seems kind of vague and from someone without the necessary experience / objectivity to really say much other then a subjective personal superficial overview.
Try the game out, it seems worth a shot so far, but as others have mentioned, probably not for everyone.
Maybe they should do something about that so that it doesn’t turn people off who don’t want to spend a huge chunk of time just to actually get to the good bits.
Well… i hit level 40 and just… feel burnt out on it. Maybe I’ll try er again later … but meh. Cost me nothing so a few days of entertainment is okay by me.
Yes, your wrap up was very well thought out and full of information.
Just kidding. The last two paragraphs just struck me as funny.
Oh so here we are again with this “It gets better after X amount of hours!” arguement.
Been there, done that with FFXIV ARR, made it out and got to finished Endwalker MSQ but thats getting abit of offtopic here.
I know I’m basing my initial review on leveling process and it isn’t a reflection of what the game is at max level and I would agree with you there… but if the leveling process is just bad or boring than this begs the question.
If the game’s good part is at say 100 of play time hours, Than why have the first 100 hours have to be boring or bad?
Hi there.
I didn’t say it gets better, I said “at least make yourself credible enough to destroy it” like you did
You essentially said it’s too easy and gave a few reasons why it “sucked” which is your right though if you read up on this specific game, it’s quite noted that the leveling experience as well as the end game in each of the tiers, is quite different. I actually agree with you that the game seems easy at first, and it’s not perfect, setting up keybinds is “meh” (lol) and the lack of being able to unlock certain ones is disappointing among a few things I have already fed back.
Anyway I am enjoying the initial ride a bit so will see how it goes and there is a lot of hype, and some of it can be attested to how much money some of these streamer are banking.
Let’s see in a few months how it is, at least you response was though out and wasn’t like the last poster’s feeble attempt at trolling/making himself feel good for some reason
Yea. Already signed up for it but am not going to quit WoW while I play it.
Cool if playing an over sexualized character that is gender locked and forced to wear high heels during combat is your thing.
