To much work I guess. If you have a history of using the report / flag as a downvote option your account should no longer have the report option. If someone is obviously in the wrong you wouldn’t be the only person reporting it anwyays ya know? So its not like it will do anything but actually improve the toxicness of the community here.

Same reason they haven’t removed the ability to flag on alts. The discourse devs obviously don’t like doing work.

It’s not like it would even be much work. The first steps are already there with the trust system.
Yep. When you remove the feature meant to show disagreement or dissatisfaction, they will just use something else.
I don’t know they thought it was a good idea to go from their previous reddit format to a twitter format. Apperantly they believe they can curb negativity by removing the dislike feature, which has never worked

Based on these numbers, I should already be in Trust Level 1…and am practically at Trust Level 2 already, needing only 12 more days on the forums and 13 more topics created.
Once again…the system fails me.
