Unless you’re a child, or a very small person, or your cat is of the Panthera genus, i don’t see how you could manage to be tripped up by a tiny ineffectual paw.
I didn’t say I tripped, but he still tries to paw my ankles as I walk past him.

If a claw catches you, you Will probably fall down. And swear a lot. A LOT. And then try to spank a fkeeing cat. Cat ownership has some great moments.

Does this mean because I got a 3 day suspension from the forums 10 or so years ago that I will never be able to get to Level 3 trust?
From what I understand, if you had an account in good standing at the time of the switchover, were not then under suspension, and haven’t been suspended as of yet, you’re good. So something 10 years old wouldn’t be a factor.

As far as I know I haven’t… do you get a notification if one of your posts is flagged or reported?

How do you check what you are missing for getting to the next trust level?
From what I can tell, I should have hit level 3 a few mins ago.
I’ve visited 76 days, 4d read time, 2d recent read time, 1.0k topics viewed, just hit 20.0k posts read like 10 mins ago, 942 likes given, 17 topics created, 693 posts created, 1.1k likes received.
I thought the 20k mark on posts was the last thing I needed, but it doesn’t seem like I can post links now.
Unless there’s something I really missed, I doubt I’ve been suspended, I know I’ve received no notification of that on the new forums.
The only thing I don’t know is whether I’ve been flagged for spam… but I doubt it i usually take care to write with purpose and not troll or spam topics.
It’s kind of confusing.
You aren’t required to post anything to reach trust level three, read the requirements…reading threads is part of what’s required to reach three.
I lost my ability to get to trust level 3 cause I called the moderators the real trolls of this forum. Absolutely zero regrets.

I believe you only receive notifications (emails) when action is taken against your account – so silence, or suspension, or ban that applies to the account you’re posting from. Deleted threads or comments don’t receive notifications – at least I haven’t received any when my comments were deleted.

Yeah and in addition to that the only way to find your trust level is to read some JSON output. Even so it still won’t allow me to post links even to imgur. Very user unfriendly.

I got mine right before day 50 of the new forums but I still got 3 probably a glitch and they’ll fix it but for now…
