I’d love to get to level 3. I’ve been trying to get to level 3, mostly because I’d like to be able to leave links to source material when I’m trying to write helpful stuff for people on the forums, and not have to use the code block to do it.

And I thought I finally have what I need to get to level 3 tonight. But i don’t appear to be level 3. And at this point I have absolutely no idea what I need to do to get there. I just wish the system were more clear and there was something that could indicate to you what you need or are missing to try and get there. The amounts of obfuscation around the levels are kind of terrible.

And I can clearly see I don’t have it from checking my json…

even though it looks to me like I have what I need on my summary

So I just don’t know anymore.

Did I get flagged for some kind of spam or trolling? I should hope not, I try to never engage in that. But at this point I don’t know and it’s one more thing that’s making me less than happy with things in wow.

To get those it’s kind of required that you to post stuff.

when i mouse over your “posts read” statistic, it shows as 19,982 …and seems to have rounded up to show 20k.
try jumping into a huge thread and scrolling?

Reading 20k posts was the hardest part by far.

Yeah, I was trying to tell people that but instead, they thought they could game the system and trade likes for whatever reason…

The real fun part is maintaining the 20k posts read every 100 days. Especially with that the posts need to be made within the last 100 days as well. So all of those people who rushed out to get 20k posts read are going to have those posts drop off in about 17 or so days.

Well… I don’t think that was it. Still doesn’t look like I’m level 3 and I think I now have 20.1k posts read.

I still have not been able to figure out what trust level I am at. I wonder why they did not display it on our profiles to make it easier.

I hit the required stuff 5 days ago and still don’t have TL 3. Hopefully you will get it sooner that I do. I have pretty much given up hope.

It’s pretty frustrating, I hope you get yours soon. The 20k posts read thing was hard to get to, and I’ve been going through things here for the last few months trying to get to it. I mean, I come to the forums anyway, but I’ve deliberately read more than I otherwise would to try and hit the post count. So, if I’ve gotten everything else I’m supposed to get to, but… somehow got hit with something in this:

“Must not have received more than 5 spam or offensive flags (with unique posts and unique users for each, confirmed by a moderator)”

without knowing it or knowing why… I’m going to be pretty annoyed.

Or you could get unlucky like me and not be able to find your character you have trust levels on due to the forums web page not working correctly. I have cleared cookies, history, cache and nothing get my Celindas back. In fact when I click on change character only 9 options show up and Celindas is not one of them. Funny thing is on the read only fourms I can get Celindas to show up.

Posted this in bug forums several times as well as a ticket and noting had been one to fix it. So just a word of caution: any day it could happen to anyone and they would have to start all over like I did.

So you got it the same day you hit the requirements??? wow Now I do feel bad. I hit the requirements on the latter part of day 50 and this evening I ticked over to day 56. /sigh

I submitted a ticket which Blizzard says they have nothing to do with the forums… and posted in the forum bug area and I doubt that will do any good either. I’m doomed to be level 2.

Yeah, I can confirm I hit the 20k posts read like an hour or so ago at this point. I had all the other qualifications for a while now. Seems like it was about that much time for it to compute and flip me into level 3.
