Actually this is not a paid forum anymore from my understanding. I remember people saying that free accounts can post here.

That being said, the trust level required to post links is incredibly easy to get. Until you do just use one of the work arounds by adding a space or something.

I’ll be honest, I’m not entirely sure if you need an active subscription or not anymore. I could have sworn I remembered not being able to post here some months ago while my account was inactive. Recently I was able to post and my account wasn’t active, but it had only run out a few days prior, so maybe there’s a delay or a bug? I’d look more into it, but I really should be working. lol :sweat_smile:

That was a bug, you’re supposed to only be able to post of you have an active WoW account.

Ahh, thought I had long hit that. There’d only load 15-20 posts at a time, then if you scroll down it loads more.

Maybe I’ll load up the “High Elf mega-thread”, then have some bleach handy for the eyes when done. :sunglasses:

Yep, I don’t have to worry about TL-3 due to some bad behavior a while back but I’m cool with that. Honestly, I like how they did the TL’s. It’s a nice little perk.

How do you find out this stuff? I looked at my page and can’t make heads nor tails of that gobbledygook.

If you’re looking at your gooblygook page, search for the word Trust and keep hitting more/down til it stops.

You have your profile hidden so not sure what else you need to reach level 3. Did you try putting in a link inside your post? If you can do that, you’re level 3.

You don’t have enough posts read (need 20k) and you need to give at least one Like.

You need 5 more days visited and 10k read. At least.

I found the trust level but not the requirements for L3. Or how far along.

TRUST LEVEL 3

Get to trust level 3 by…

Must have visited at least 50% of last 100 days
Must have replied to at least 10 different topics
Of topics created in the last 100 days, must have viewed 500 topics
Of posts created in the last 100 days, must have read 20,000 posts (both starting posts and replies)
Must have received 20 likes, and given 30 likes.
Must not have received more than 5 spam or offensive flags (with unique posts and unique users for each, confirmed by a moderator)
Must not have been suspended (including forum suspensions or in-game account actions of any Blizzard game)

Trust Level 3 users can

Create Wiki Posts (more on that below)
Post animated gifs, images, compatible video embeds, and links to any website

I’ve been told by Blizzard that it’s not hard and fast basically. “That said, trust levels are constantly iterated on, so criteria may evolve over time in any case.”

You can put a ` in front and after the link to get one you can double click and open in another tab. The key above Tab.

To be fair,the system is a tad broken,I had to eat a silence for not having the same opinion about a twitch streamer or somebody e famous as a whole. Apparently saying they’re overrated and elitist is considered harrassment and having an opposing opinion as a whole especially being Pro WoW gets you flagged for trolling/wrong think when in reality you were on topic and disagreed with the thread’s original poster while contributing to what’s supposed to he a discussion rather than a hug box.

The system is good on paper but has been quickly abused to silence opinions people don’t like and the appeal is automated now.
