I’m having a problem with the Magic Message quest as well. I finished Khadgar’s discovery and the elf never showed up. I did everyhting normally with no abandoning or skipping. Did she ever show up for you? How?

I really appreciate the post- but the problem I have is after I finish khadgar’s discovery, he never gives me magic message. So thats why she doesn’t spawn. Khadgar doesn’t offer my character the quest after completing Khadgar’s Discovery so I can’t accept magic message from him in order to spawn in the elf.
You have gone through the wowhead comments suggesting other places to look?
I could be your quest giver is still phased behind a quest not completed. Did you happen to mention boosting the character at all?

The character you’re posting on has already completed the Magic Message quest and the quests that follow it.
Wowhead has a handy tool where you can plug in your character information and see what quests your character already has credit for.
It looks like the next quest in the chain for your character is Ancient Mana.

I never did the magic message quest… I never did a quest with an elf at any point. I would definitely remember because after finishing Khadgar’s discovery, there wasn’t anything to do after and I submitted my ticket. Then I looked up what came after. I saw that there was a quest called Magic Message with an Elf that appears and went, huh, that never happened that must be what I have to do next.
Not only that but I checked my Warmap before all this and only had Highmountian. No suramar.
Maybe they did something to my account to fix it? When I looked at my tracker I never saw that there.
No one has touched your characters or account as far as I can tell.
The ticket responses you received were directing you to fan resources like wowhead, and to let you know that there aren’t currently any known issues being tracked by the QA team regarding this quest chain.
Looking at your quest log, it looks like these quests were completed some time ago. Hopefully you can pick up Ancient Mana and continue on.
If that does resolve the questing issue, go ahead and close out the current open ticket.

I’m going to check now because before all this I checked my War Map and only had Highmountain. No Suramar. Can you even get Ancient Mana without going to Suramar first? Isn’t that where First Arcanist Thalyssra is to accept that quest, or is she in Dalaran just for that? WOWHEAD says Ancient Mana starts with First Arcanist Thalyssra in Suramar.
Yes. If you can get into Suramar, you can loot Ancient Mana from nodes or even from the crystals on the ground without ever having officially opened the zone and started the quest lines there.
Having Ancient Mana in your currency proves absolutely nothing.
I meant the Ancient Mana Quest. Not the item.
Okay, so I don’t have the Anciet Mana quest and when I go to my war map I still don’t have Suramar so I can’t go to Suramar to get the Ancient Mana quest. I went to the landing in Dalaran and there’s no special flight to it either.
What happens when you fly over to Suramar and enter the city? Can you find any quest givers there? I mean fly manually, not via a flight path.

I can’t fly over them. I don’t have the rep. You can’t fly over there if you haven’t been there too pretty sure. Regardless, impossible to get the rep to fly if you can’t grind the rep in the beginning.
To be clear, are you referring to Suramar the zone or Suramar the City?
Because Ancient Mana is not picked up inside the city, but outside of it in the cave at Meredil. This is also where you’d need to turn in the quest “The Nightfallen” that you currently have in your log.

I don’t have the nightfallen in my log… Looked 3 times and checked the regular quest map. Looking at the Broken Isles, as well as the sidebar, there is no nightfallen quest. Pretty sure I haven’t been to suramar the city or zone.
Just to get the obvious out of the way-- the character you’re looking for help with is your posting character, correct?
Might explain Kalv seeing something that you don’t.

Yes, for Sushichan. I can take a screenshot of my quest log and regular map and scouting map.
Sorry, this is the quest to complete 4 World Quests so you probably won’t see it until it’s completed. I completely blanked on that.
But, your character does have the flight path to Meredil where you can find First Arcanist Thalyssra.

So I flew to Suramar and have successfully accepted the Ancient Mana quest. Thank you Kalviery for your support on this.
I straight up don’t know what happened before this quest that I couldn’t figure out where to go next. There wasn’t a ! on the map anywhere. I don’t remember ever doing magic message which I apparently finished, I don’t know. I’ll close out the ticket and learned it’s better to come to the forum for these issues… Which I never had an issue like this to be honest.

If you don’t already, click on the Magnifying Glass next to your minimap and see if you can turn on “Trivial Quests” tracking. At level 120, some of those 110 quests may not be visible to you be default.
