Yes it will attract their attention. The kick for any reason =/= kick to grief like some people think it does.
If they are punishing M+ leavers they will come after this next.

Itās interesting a problem that persisted through out the entire dungeon was brought up while you were killing the last boss. His rude response deserved a kick.
The behavior Iām talking about usually occurs just before the final boss is initiated and with no obvious reason.
The main problem is a vote kick is completely anonymous now. Before you would see who initiated it and could make an informed decision. Knowing who initiated is actually more important than the reason (which would already be apparent to the group if there was an actual issue).
Iāma be honest, itās highly unlikely the person that kicked you will receive any form of punishment. You would have to have at least 5-10 reports from unique players within a very short time frame against that specific player for the GMs to notice.
But who knows. If this person is really being abusive with kicking peopleā¦I guess itās possible to anger enough victims.
They could if they hired moderators that watched over dungeon content. Which is unlikely unless enough people anger Blizzard with enough victim reports.
I mean if we are talking about queued dungeons, oh well. The group as a whole decided they wanted you gone. Besides that, loot in these things is 100% worthless, Iām not even sure why they exist anymore. Just run delves and get the equivalent of Mythic+ gear lol.
At what tier level of delves do you start getting M+ equivalent gear?
I think that involves too much effort, they want the kick feature to work without much effort on their part.
If they were lazy, but actually wanted to fix itā¦ they could action accounts who have initiated an excessive amounts of vote kicks or limit them per account. I rarely vote kick and think if a person has hit double digit vote kicks over lets say a monthā¦ itās being a bit over used, possibly abused.
Since it hasnāt been linked, hereās the corresponding Support Article:
Currently, any reason can be used to kick another player. Additionally, 4 people are not going to get into any trouble because the 5th felt their kick wasnāt justified. The other four felt it was.
Yes, there are some safeguards in place to prevent groups of 3 who queue together from doing this non-stop. They lose the option to vote until they successfully complete a dungeon without initiating a vote.
This is how it currently works. Will that change? Who knows. But it hasnāt changed since shortly after the system was implemented.
Are there any limitations to how many vote kicks can be initiated by an account? If thereās notā¦ there should be. Giving a ākick away folksā sign and not monitoring the abuse of it at all seems questionable does it not?
When exactly was this?
Iād also like to know when it became anonymous as well. For most of DF I recall a players name appearing with the vote kick and think making this function anonymously was a huge mistake.
Eh, I feel like a lot of people I see complain about being kicked at the last boss in queued content are actually tanks that can just solo the place so they pull everything into the boss fight and the other people donāt like that and kick.
From what I found, the Vote to Kick feature was introduced during the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, specifically with Patch 3.3.0, which was released on December 8, 2009.
Only as I mentioned in my previous post.
No clue. Technically, it shouldnāt really matter who initiated the vote anyway. Knowing who started it could only lead to other forms of abuse anyway.
Kicking someone out to prevent them from getting loot is griefing. It doesnāt matter if it is a vote system. It can be trolled.
How would you even prove that lol?
What would it change knowing who?
All thatās going to happen is folks will argue, itāll solve nothing, itāll just make it even more unpleasant (aka toxic).
Cause it happened to me in BFA. I got kicked so another person could get loot.
Queued content is personal loot lol.
There is still a thing you can kick someone in combat to prevent them from looting. Unless they changed it.
Loot will go to your mailbox.
No, it would just go to your mail lol.
You may feel that way if you wish. Blizzard disagrees. Currently, Blizzard will not action someone for initiating a vote or for the others for agreeing.
Nor are they going to force 4 players to keep a 5th that they donāt want there. The vote to kick cannot be abused as it stands today (according to Blizzardās stance).
