You are the 14th, maybe even 15th person to openly state you’re happy with the set. I gotta ask, and I swear I’m not trying to be rude, I genuinely want to know. 1.) Do you feel there is no issue with the mask clipping deep into the female models chest? 2.) Likewise do you feel there is no issue with the belt clipping halfway into the male models legs? 3.) You feel like 0 skulls is a solid interpretation of Darkspear Heritage? 4.) Do you play a Darkspear Troll? I do have a couple more questions but for now I’d like your opinion on those.

Well I was mildly jesting but I am still curious about your thoughts on the 4 things I mentioned.
I never actually said I thought they’d change it, I’m actually fairly certain they won’t. Which to me would be a disappointment since from my perspective this set sucks in more ways than 10, there are things I like about it though.

I didn’t realize troll players cared this deeply about their heritage set.
I hope it gets fixed or improved upon, especially after such an immensely long wait. I’d love to make a troll specifically to get the set.

It’s about escapism.
I’m playing this game as darkspear champion in warcraft universe. I’m embracing troll culture and lore too.
Darkspear trolls are primitive community lives in jungle. They are hunters and voodoo users. They are not assimilated with orc culture . And this set is very orcish with troll make up. There is nothing about bones , skulls, strings with that set.
This set looks like a troll post guard in Orgrimmar.
Darkspear Heritage armor set must be a “intimidating” one.

I honestly don’t get the hate for this heritage set. It has a bad hat but I can think of two sets off the top of my head with bad hats (velf and DID.)
The rest of the set looks fine to me.

It doesnt properly represent trolls which makes calling it their heritage a complete lie.
They dont wear masks in this way, they critically lack skull representation, no skull pikes on their bike which would highly represent the darkspear, it also looks way to clean to be troll.
Imagine if tauren got their heritage and they removed feathers and totems and instead got plate armor with bull and horde designs on it, it would be completely shized on for not representing the tauren.
Ths heritage looks more akin to an orc shaman and follows their attire choices.
