Yeah there’s a decent chance there’s no quality control or oversight. The person who makes it is probably the deciding factor on wether or not it’s good enough.

I know right, it’s just a mess overall. The pattern on the cloth segments barely shows through. Why silver paint? has any Darkspear Troll ever worn silver paint on their cloths? No, they haven’t.
They probably have one or two people left they didn’t fire, and they probably only use them for narrative.

I know they consulted with the wow reddit lore forum asking about what the earthern were capable of, it was interesting they asked fans these things.
Obviously lore enthusiasts like myself would know but probably not the average dev.

Yeah I don’t even think that’s the right orange. The brown was a terrible choice, the Trolls didn’t start wearing those dark tones with all the metal until BFA. I’m deducting a point, this is a 2/10.

Good question, Metzen is on the team again but I doubt they run small stuff like armor design by him now that he’s on the narrative team. Hopefully he can cook up something good for Vol’Jin 10.2.7. Hopefully he’s part of that decision.

That set looks like a orcish armor with trollish theme.
gloves and boots are horrible. and that skirt! Really?
I dont know any designer of these crap played Wow or Warcraft or know troll lore but
there is 3 type troll outfit style .
1-Full plate warriors and prelates with a lot of bones and masks
2-Long skirt and top half naked with mask on face witch doctors
3- Almost naked with shoulders and totems on back with bones and mask for intimidating look headhunters and berserkers. add rush’kah mask shadow hunters.
Head Slot- Seperate mask and cloth and make it optional. I prefer Zekhan’s mask. And make that cloth mask ear to ear and under nose. google Sen’jin and Zul’jin and fix it.
Back Slot - Use bones ,skulls and strings for make it intimidating like Vol’jin’s or Bwonsamdi’s.
Shoulder Slot- It looks cheap version of orcish armor painted with troll theme. Make it original with wood and bones . Darkspear Tribe living in jungle . They are primitive. They using bones ,leather and strings. They are wearing their armor for make them intimidating.
Chest slot- Just use a simple leather for fasten shoulder armor.
Waist slot - Add Hexbags potions .
Leg Slot - A simple primitive underwear.
Hand slot- If you loved that symbols remove that gloves. Just serpent like bracelet is okay. and you can add tiki mask to other hand instead of meaningless bones.
Feet slot- Just tiki mask to knees and remove rest.
And the most important thing is. Darkspear Heritage sets weapon must be a “Warglaive”
You already gave moonglaive to your lovely night elves.
If you dont want share warglaives to others because of your lovely Demon Huntards just make 1h sword -1h dagger 2h polearm and 2h-staff with warglaive visual. There is already a lot of troll warglaives in game.

yea i agree. and almost all of who posts about like this set profile is non troll chars.
just imagine they are giving wand to illidan or full plate set with skulls to LF Draenei or full metal set with cogs and nuts to night elves. i guess they will say ah its good.
