Trip to Disneyworld in spring 2022 worth it?

Might I suggest a condo on a lake or beach, where you drive there and buy your own food to make, so that you’re limiting your exposure to people? It might be fun for the kids and relaxing for the elderly.

While I still vote they don’t go to disney right now, the wait times are supposedly not bad. They got rid of fast passes I heard and, it’s resulted in lines actually being normal 15-20 minutes vs hours. It’s also supposedly not as crowded right now… but on the other hand not everything is open and available to ride. Kinda a trade off.

OP should definitely check out the disney world subreddits to find more accurate info on what the parks are currently like.

Go to universal, cheaper, less of a pain in the butt. Plus, harry potter

I want to take my kids someday but I think of the hour long lines and think I would end up killing them.

No, it’s not. Save your money.

Nah, I prefer go to SeaWorld. You know why? Cuz I love to learn about animals and see how I can make a difference in helping the environment. Also I could visit the Miami Seaquarium, a similar Oceanarium based in Miami.

And IF any of you go like “B-but SW abuses animals according to blackfish”, I’ll post you some videos that show their amazing animal rescue and rehabilitation programs.

I wanted to expand upon this, as I only gave tips for the free stuff (aside from paying for flight tickets, hotels, food, etc.). That being said, keep in mind BOTH Genie+ AND Lightning Lanes are paid per person and NOT a bundle package deal. And, BOTH Genie+ AND Lightning Lanes are their own separate entities and not to be confused as being one in the same. You do NOT need Genie+ to book Lightning Lanes and vice versa.

And, I forgot to mention, though this may be outdated due to Covid, but you could bring in your own food, into the parks with the exception of alcohol. If you want to budget out what you’re paying for. However, most of Disney World does sell alcohol, if you really need a drink. Disneyland, on the other hand, hardly has alcohol, so Disney World offers more alcohol options, if that’s your thing/jam. And, always ask for a cup of water, to stay and remain hydrated and avoid paying for overpriced bottles of water. You can bring in your own refillable bottles, as both Disneyland and Disney World provide refill stations, if you’re looking to save a few pennies :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes, that was the joke, gj taking it past where it needed to go.

I would argue I took it exatly where it needed to go.

Oh well, you didn’t.

You obviously haven’t been to California then.

California is infinitely and objectively better than Florida.
