This will never happen. However there should be a risk/reward for using PvE gear. In the past the risk was you didn’t have a PvP stat/Resil so if you ran PvE items you were squishier.
The real fix is for ALL PvP gear to have a PvP stat again so it’s BiS and then only 1 or 2 items from PvE are sought after.
If you think we got a problem now wait till Tier sets come out in PvE. We need a PvP stat. Period.
