Tricky Treats NOT dropping

I got all the Outland Candy Buckets and the achievement, I got all but 3 of the Eastern Kingdoms Candy Buckets and not a single Tricky Treat has dropped and NOT a single Tooth Pick.

Yeah it seems like it’s bugged. I haven’t gotten any tricky treats yet either.

got a toothpick from trick or treating the inn keeper. tricky treats come from the HH boss fight

Did the Headless horseman 5x today and no tricky treats.

I can’t get a group that doesn’t kick my healer. I’m 78, have quest. How do I report getting kicked?

I am not seeing a green highlight when I loot buckets. I can even get the bucket quests a couple times but can’t loot because “duplicate item” or something like that.

Horseman dropped like 75 total of them when I went in there. got 0 from any of the buckets or treat bags.

What I’m missing is toothpicks. Been trick or treating since 7 this morning, done all the quests, and no toothpick

You have to open the packet of candy, can’t have more than one in your bags

Tricky Treats are not a drop, they are looted into your inventory by ‘catching’ them in a rain of candy after you kill HHM. You can get a lot of them in one run if you try, and if you do nothing and stand far away from him, you probably won’t get any.

Next time you kill him, try standing close to his corpse and kinda strafing around a bit and you might have some land on you.

They don’t drop from the candy buckets you silly person.

Tricky treats will show up in your inventory after murdering the headless horseman a couple times

Toothpicks, as well as wands and masks come from treat bags you get from using the “truck or treat” chat option with inn keepers. You can do this once every hour for the duration of the hallows end event

still no tricky treats dropped even after 12 headless horseman kills.
either I’m super unlucky or there is something bugged

Welcome to the RNG achievement event. Where having good luck gives you a sense of achievement!

As for Tricky Treats. There are 2 easy ways to deal with this

  1. Just do HH daily and stand near altar when he dies, eventually you’ll get some, you only need 5-10.
  2. Ask someone else who has them to trade you some, as they are tradeable

Yesterday I did not get any Tricky Treats. Today, I found about 40 in my bags just magically appeared. Haven’t had them for a full 24hrs and they are already gone. Is this a bug?
