Traveler's Log Shift Click tracking not working

I see in the Traveler’s Log it says to shift click to track but it has never worked since the Trading Post came out. It’s pretty frustrating having to constantly open the log and find the tasks I’m working on.

I’ve disabled all addons and it still won’t track tasks on my quest tracker. Please someone help me!

You can try a full UI reset by following the instructions here:

If that doesn’t work, you’ll want to post in the Bug Report forums to let the QA team know.

tyvm, I just tried the UI reset you suggested and shift click to track still isn’t working. I’ll let em know in bug forum. ty for the suggestion though.

Honestly, this one is a bit surprising. I can’t recall seeing it come through here about it not tracking at all. There is a more familiar bug where it gets stuck on a particular task and will never uncheck that particular task across all of your roster. Just chiming in to add that little bit. It doesn’t really help, and I’m sorry for it. Just touching in that there is an opposite more well-known one. I do wish you luck, and hopefully it’ll manage to get itself unborked.

Also keep in mind that once you track something, you can never untrack it. That’s another bug that we have posted about, but I wanted to make you aware,
OP. The only way to untrack Trading Post tasks once tracked is to log into each character and untrack it on every character on every server.

I had been tracking one of the t-shirt tasks from the Traveler’s Log all month, I think it disappeared today though.

Have you changed any keybindings with the shift button? Outside of a UI issue, that is the only other thing I can think of.

If this isn’t a UI issue hopefully others will post in your thread in the Bug Report forum. The more samples we can get the better for investigation purposes.

There’s no keybindings I can think of that I have that would affect this. I can still shift click things like linking items in the chatbox, etc. That still works.

I might just have to go to a pad of paper and pen to list the tasks I need to do for 1k lol.

Does anyone know if there is an addon that might help me track all the Traveler’s Log tasks I need to complete?
