Travel from Orgrimmar to Blasted Lands

Other than using a mage to send me to Stonard, is there any current fast travel method from Org to Blasted Lands?

Once you could talk to the mage next to the Shatt portal but they now send you through to Hellfire Peninsula and you cannot now walk back through the portal to Blasted Lands, you can only take the port back to Orgrimmar. So am I missing some travel method thats quicker than either finding a mage or going to STV and flying up?

EDIT: Let me clarify my request. By “fast travel method” I mean any method that does not include using a boat or a flight master or zeppelin or flying there myself (and also apart from a mage port to Stonard). I am particularly referring to earlier methods where there was a portal from the city to the Dark Portal, which was basically instant.

Perhaps I should have made that a bit clearer or used caps or something.

EDIT: please note, the Thrallmar mage will send you to the Burning Lands portal point IF you have Burning Lands set to WoD timeline. If, however, it is set to OLD Burning Lands, you will still get sent through to Outland.

Buy the flight point heirloom maps that will unlock the FP in BL?

So the answer is no, there is no quick trip? Its ok if so, I was curious if I was missing something obvious.

I dunno horde side very well. All i can think of is there is one airship from Org that goes CLOSE to BB, at least in that zone.

At Orgrimmar, the Zeppelin Tower[51.5, 54.3] on the plateau (just north of the flight master) in the center of Orgrimmar (before World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Cataclysm there used to be a docking tower outside Orgrimmar in Durotar).[citation needed] The one that leaves from the west edge of the tower will take you to the Undercity; the east side goes to Grom’gol in Stranglethorn Vale.

I believe you can talk to one of the mages in the portal room and that NPC will give you the option to travel to the dark portal.

It has however been a while since I’ve really been there though

Take the zeppelin to STV. Blasted Lands is just next door to the Eeast

I believe the cleft of shadow has a port to the dark portal.

Also you can take the portal by the Org zeppelin portal to Undercity, then the portal you came out of in Undercity is a portal to dark portal. Then the portal from the dark portal leads back to orgrimmar.

Now you’re thinking with portals.

You can talk to the guy in the portal room and he will send you there. Of course, that is hit and miss. Some of my characters can get a portal and some cannot.

If you talked to chromie and got the breadcrumb to start either wod or bc, you will get a mage in the portal room to send you, but they are both instanced.

No, it used to but it doesnt now.

Im not in game so I cant check, but can a level 60 talk to Chromie?

Zeppelin to Undercity and fly? wasnt there a zep station in Brill?

The zeppelin no longer goes to the Undercity since BfA. There is a portal on the skyway tower where it used to dock that will send you to the mage tower in the Undercity or the smoldering remains of the Undercity, depending on what level you are.

By the mage tower in the Undercity there is a portal to the Dark Portal in HFP.

I don’t believe Chromie will help you if you are 50+.

Why do you want to go to the Blasted Lands? Going through the Dark Portal is no longer necessary as a means of getting to HFP.

If you expect to want to go to the Blasted Lands often, fly there from the Zeppelin Tower in Grom’gol and take the flight point in Stonard.

I have my reasons and its a fair question since it concerns game travel.

I did say

as distinct from normal travel method but anyhow, Im presuming there isnt anymore so Ill leave the post with that.

From airship orgrimmar to grom gol then to blasted land stondard. i think that route still exist.

Yeah,it still works tested it out on my toon fastest way is to shattered lands from Grom gol.

People keep mentioning this, but doesnt the dark portal no longer work?
You can enter it, but you can’t enter from HFP into blasted lands.

Yes, there is indeed a portal via the mage that takes you to Hellfire Peninsula. But if you turn around and try walk through the portal, it doesnt work. It did once, but it doesn’t now.

If you havent done Legion quest. You can talk to a guy who teleport you there. Dont know if they still can once the quest been completed tough. It would be in the mage portal room in the floor underground
