I have an excess amount of transmog that i have had on many characters no longer giving me the option to transmog then on multiple characters they appear in my collections tab but when i go to look for them when im at the transmog vendor they aren’t showing
Are you trying to transmog different-“class” appearances or level-locked appearances on a low-level character?
Plate can’t be transmogged onto a cloth-wearer, etc.

no im trying to transmog a 1 handed sword or even i bought some mog off the AH for my priest to wear and its not even there after equipping the pieces and learning the appearences
Pretty sure priests can’t use swords, so you likely cannot transmog swords onto your usable weapons.

Make sure you check the filter options, you may want to try toggling them off and on to see if the appearances show up.
Alternately, you might try resetting your User Interface.
I would agree with Ekon, I don’t believe swords are an option. You should be able to use Daggers, One-Handed Maces, Staves and Wands.

You can’t transmog anything your class can’t actually wield. So weapon type restrictions operate here. In this case, if you can’t mog it, it won’t show up in the Appearances UI or the Transmogger.
There are also level restrictions, although they’re a lot broader than the explicit level restrictions for equipping the real equipment. In this case, the appearances will show up but not be usable.

its not just my priest that isnt able to mog things its my DK not being able to transmog swords and stuff and everything aswell
In regards to your DK referencing the weapon you mentioned earlier, only Frost spec is able to transmog 1-hand. Unholy and Blood are 2-hand.
If you’re in that spec and it isn’t working, you may want to try a UI reset.
