Not saying they would, but others will. I think you misunderstand. Let me break it down.

The expansion was to launch October 26. A lot of people pre-order games. But a surprisingly large amount of people also dont. Blizzard isn’t going to get money from people who would have bought the game October 26. Because the game isn’t coming out October 26. They still have a certain amount of revenue they have to generate. So they gave us a transmog to buy instead.

Im honestly just surprised we didnt get a new mount, and transmog, and earlier in the month too.

Just because it isn’t a first doesn’t mean it’s not anti-consumer. With the massive take-over from Activision lately this is clearly meant to be a warning of things to come.

It’s been bad since the merger, but Activision is currently very hostile in it’s take-over of Blizzard as a whole in the last year, and it’s only getting worse.

If it is $20 in the store, couldn’t you earn enough gold to turn that into “blizzard bucks” and then buy the transmog with that? If so, then think of it as a like 200k-300k gold item sold at a vendor.

Well, it’s free with a sub. Of course if you aren’t planning on playing then it wouldn’t be worth it… but if one is not planning on playing I’d probably argue that they don’t need a transmog either :slight_smile:

I like it, Nothing wrong with Transmog in the store: Because see we as humans have what are called…CHOICES!..you can choose to buy it (Like i did) Or Choose to have 6 months sub (as others did) OR you can choose to not get it or not pay for 6 months in advance!

INSANITY i know, pure insanity that blizzard would release something and GASP you need to be an adult and decide if you want it, or don’t want it.

On another note I as said support this, want more of it! but next time something more metal! give us something super detailed and badass next time blizzard!

see, i do plan on playing, but i can’t afford to buy half a year’s worth of time in one shot. so… the 25$ version is… well, i’d say more purchaseable, but 25$ is still a lot just for an outfit.

This is an entirely different and legitimate issue.

There is NO reason that only mythic raiders get the gear with the “best” designs.

And that’s all grossly anti-consumer?

At what point did, “everyone else is doing it!” become a reason that something is a positive thing?

I’d try some gold making. 280k shouldn’t be too bad.

Honestly thinking of buying it this way myself.

oh no, a costume is on the store
and they’ll likely add another one in sixth months, like they do with mounts
what an absolute disaster, the greed is unreal
all these thousands of transmog pieces obtainable in-game don’t matter anymore
