No, of course not, Transmog alone is not full retail. But when you also consider the massive retail changes done to TBC arenas, the retail changes they are making to battle grounds, the cash shop mount, etc, its just another retail change being added to what was classic TBCC.
The only changes I have opposed from the very beginning were the changes to arena.
So my comment was mostly just me being snarky.

YES PLEASE to transmog. It was added way too late the first time around… I’ve played since vanilla and I’ve felt that the game was lacking since vanilla. Some of us play the game for the aesthetics, to collect various outfit pieces and feel good about what we stare at for the hours we’re logged in…
Doesnt make sense NOT to add it since it doesnt affect anyone’s power level or ability to enjoy their game their way.
Cataclysm is not even remotely the same as TBC, its an entirely different game just like every expansion is in reality a completely different game even if they’re related.

Can you elaborate what these things might be?
Guessing no one that’s saying “hell no to transmog” ever had to carry multiple RP outfits around, taking up precious bag space.
Transmog is a system that wow does very well and is celebrated by the majority. It’s also the most un-biased and harmless feature to update classic with. We work really hard for certain set pieces or outfits and we should be able to rock them when we want.

Transmog is dumb. My buddy showed it to me awhile back—he had 2x 1-handed maces equipped and he transmogged them to look like 2x katanas….
They could have at least limited it to weapon class—like you can only transmog a mace for a mace, sword for a sword, etc.

I have 0 interest in abiding by your dress code and Classic wow wouldve been way cooler with a toggle for modern textures in a classic wow system.
but here I am, dealing with hideous models for the second time around just because I prefer classic gameplay to retail…
we cant have everything we want but we can toss transmoggers a bone without ruining your life, I bet.

Nah, strongly disagreed. You can choose to restrict yourself if you want but a lot of us were really loud in opposition and happy to see blizz finally relax some of those rules. we’re playing a game with fairies and dragons and demons… I think its safe to say a magical enchantment that changes the appearance of weapons or armor is very… very… very logical. and FAIR.
