What’s your opinions about transmog getting added in tbc or wotlk( if the do it) classic? I personally think it’s a great idea and transmog was one of the best things to be added to the game, my guess is it’ll even get them more sub numbers. Also we all know #nochanges is stupid.

No changes is stupid. But adding transmog is even more stupid. Imo ideas like this is why no changes crowd exists.

I prefer there not be any transmog stuff going on, because of lore reasons. In TBC, we had just met some of the Ethereal race. I know that sounds cheesy, and as much as I love transmog, I don’t want to see it, personally.
lol no the majority of people do not believe this. Maybe the majority of people playing retail right now. Not the majority of people who specifically want classic games.

I like MMORPGs that allow you to customize/tailor your gear appearance, since a lot of gear sets out there are god-awful ugly and/or looking like a mismatched clown is no fun, but the way that Blizzard implemented it into WoW via Transmog was just stupid & turned BoE leveling gear on the AH into insanely-priced cosmetic items that only gold-buying cheaters could afford.

Leave transmog in retail imo. I have 0 interest in using it and it would be a detriment to the things I enjoy about the game.
I don’t want to see the economy for boe and lvling gear get inflated out of reach for most players. I dont want people rolling for gear in instances for looks alone. I don’t want people in dungeons/pvp fighting in tuxedos, “sexy pants”, and pitchforks as it looks rediculous and makes everything seem like im playing a bugs bunny cartoon.
Retail is there for people who do enjoy transmog, and I think that’s just fine. Please keep it there and let those of us who don’t like it have our game too.
of course I didn’t even think of the massive inflation and dungeon problems it would cause

That there will be a Classic Wrath is the closest thing that you can get to a “sure thing” with Blizzard. It is ridiculous to even suggest that it might not happen.
As far as transmog, I have very few problems with them adding it. The biggest being that it would attract more Retail players to Classic and that isn’t desirable.
It wouldn’t be my first choice if they gave us transmog the way it exists in Retail. If we have to have it added, I would prefer that they restrict weapons to the actual type and not enable hiding for every slot.
Basically, I wish that they wouldn’t add it but I am not going to throw a temper tantrum if they do. Because I can see an actual RPG reason for it to exist … why would an adventurer replace that amazing epic weapon they got from a glorious battle with some green that random dropped off a mob? At least with transmog you can role play that you used that weapon until the next glorious battle. Or maybe use it for mogging forever. A lot of the major characters are known by the weapon that they carry.

Fixed this for ya. I need a barbershop. I made a druid named Albinokitty and changed up my NE colors thinking that it would result in a white cat form. He’s not. He’s purple. I messed up. Barber please, or a name change to Thanoskitty.
