Transfer to a dead server or wait 2-3 hours to play the game?

I dont have a lot of time. I get off work at 6 which will almost always be peak hours. I honestly dont know what to do. Im terrififed to transfer to a server I know is all ready dead and will be even more dead in a month but i kind of wont ever get to play much if I dont. Ehhhhh heartseeker youre tempting just cause i want to play the game.

None of them are dead so much as yours is way too full.

Don’t transfer. Make new char there and play for a day

Nobody can make that decision for you.
My suggestion is to roll a new character on the new server and see what it is like for yourself then decide if you want to transfer or not. Plus you may find a guild for your higher level character to join.

Heartseeker isn’t dead at all, it’s doing the best out of all the other new realms. Discord is active, balanced factions, a lot of people to group up with, and not a toxic community unlike Faerlina.

Every single server is medium or higher during primetime.

If more people transferred to the ‘dead’ servers, they wouldn’t be ‘dead’.

This is the only thing that needs to be said.

Between seeing in-game and on the forums about how many people don’t want to transfer because it’s dead, if they just decided to buck up and transfer, the realms would be far from ‘dead’.

8 Full (like 4 of those are “healthy” full) and 18 high and 9 medium… 8:09 EST.

Nothing is dead.

I rerolled on different server, gave up on my lvl33 Druid and rolled on a much better server

If you decide to reroll may I recommend Benediction. 50/50 faction balance (did my own census on Horde and Alliance at the same time) and at peak hours the server pop is High

Transfer to a dead server for free then when that server dies pay real money to transfer back but lose your name.

Once your transfer is complete. You just log back into the old server and re-reserve you name.

Also the server is not dead. Comparing population to an insanely overcrowded server to a normal size one makes it look “Dead” to you.

But he can’t because of ques. His name is gone forever.

yes you can.

You log into server once your queue is finally over. You click transfer but you still remain on the the full server. When the icon disappears from your character the transfer is complete. You log off that server then right back on (no queue) and re-reserve it.

Just use TeamViewer or a similar app to log in while you are at work.

I left Fairbanks and xfered off. The queue times were killing me. I’ve found a good casual guild on my new server and i don’t have to fight with 50+ people for zone re-pops.

Pretty counterproductive now that players are afraid of transferring over to dead servers because they’re dead.

I really want to stay on my server and play another toon while i wait the 3 hours. That would require another account and sub though i suppose. I want to be able to find dungeon groups thats what I enjoy the most and its hard enough on my over pop server. Takes an eterneity to find a tank for a dungeon that you dont even really need a dedicated one for.

Low pop doesn’t not equal a dead server.

There is lots of in-between you know. It isn’t just 3-4 hour queue, or dead server.
