Seriously? Server pop caps were what? 5k in vanilla? These servers will be no where near dead any time soon. Transfer to a medium server. You won’t see the difference due to less layering being needed. It ain’t rocket surgery.

Don’t roll to the low population server if u enjoy playing socially. Instead just make an alt in a medium/high server and only join ur main realm when peak hours are done

There is no “dead” server. At this time, there’s not even a “low” one. Literally all of them are medium or higher.

I understand other servers are not “dead” but i feel like the population is skewed because most people are still “trying it out”. I dont think enough time has passed to weed out the dont even make it to lvl 10 without rerolling a alt or quitting.
Dude don’t do it. I did, and literally re rolled the same exact character on the old server. Still haven’t caught where I was.
In your situation you should create a new character and see if you can deal with how empty it is, or risk losing all of your progress.
There will be no transferring back, paid or otherwise.
I don’t recommend taking these free transfers unless you like to play alone. My whole guild ended up on Earthfury and it’s basically a ghost server.

Windseeker server is turning out to be the best server ever! Just started yesterday and the transfers are increasing the playerbase by a ton… Tons of new players and mid range players…

Thats funny, i dont recall seeing you around. Or anyone from your guild for that matter. I haven’t had any issues finding groups or people to play with. Just yesterday one of my guildmates was talking about how they couldn’t complete a quest because the zone was so full. I personally had a similar experience with Collecting Memories on the way to VC. There was several full groups all fighting for the Union Cards, it was nuts.
Maybe you ended up on a layer by yourself or something? I dunno.
Personally I would hold off until phase 2 comes out and they will likely open transfers to more realms. I’m in the same situation where my realm has ques and a faction imbalance but the target server they want us to transfer to has <10 60’s and hardly anyone in the cities. Better to wait through que and have options to raid instead of transfer to a dead server who doesn’t even have the option to.

Think ill probably roll a druid in anothet server and when I cant afford to wait just play him. Good advice on the not transering. Feels like it took forever to get to lvl 27 so its tough to put that on hold and start fresh. I know i know dirry casual you were 60 days ago.
“Dead server” is literally idiots gas lighting themselves. No server is dead and even the medium ones are growing fast. Xfered from Skeram to Earthfury and it’s far from dead. Trade chat is just as quick and there is no que.

I transferred to Heartseeker the moment it was available with my guild. Only like 10 of us moved while the rest that we had plans to raid with decided to stay on Stalagg with the 10k+ que (at the time). At first i dreaded the choice cuz server was empty, but i got to level up in STV uninterrupted and went from 1 level a day to 2-3 a day.
Right now Heartseeker has 6k on both sides, pretty even, discord is active and its been good with some banter. AH is finally taking off and today at peak alliance had 1400 and horde had 1300. Don’t hesitate and do it. Check the discord out if you have concerns or questions.

I play on Incendius, which doesn’t have a Q when I get home anymore, but for the first few days I used to use Teamviewer to log on from my phone early, to make sure I could play when I got home from work.
It IS annoying, but it beats playing on a dead server.
The queues are going to get worse before they get better. Anyone staying on a full server should just be aware of that (because they are going to remove layering and lower the concurrent player cap before phase 2).
Transfer. No such thing as a dead server. Just because it is’t frenetic like Faerlina doesn’t mean it’s dead. If anything, this is what it’s supposed to be. Faerlina is a freakshow in more ways than one. Servers aren’t supposed to be that full.
